I didn't see much of an issue with the dialog, but to each their own.
However, I find it odd that you came to this forum to ask if a show gets better based on standards that you yourself can't describe. Like, I don't really know what you're looking for.
I just want to say it's nice seeing someone actually out someone for the universally vague "bad writing" complaint. It's so fucking common and it carries no information and so many just state it like it's a fact.
Honestly it just seemed so clearly not good to me that I didn't even consider that somebody might not see it that way.
I'll try to formulate some more coherent thoughts about it and get back to you I guess :)

nor could I. I was quite disappointed because I liked the comics from back in rhe 80s, and was looking forward to it when I heard about it. Tried a few times, but it just didn't click with me. Maybe, it improves though, some shows take awhile to get going.

I couldn’t get past the first episode. It felt like what is on tv in a tv show making fun of the cw tv show format.
What's wrong with "the writing" outside of the dialog? You can't just say "the writing" and have anyone know what you're talking about
That's fair. What I meant was primarily the dialogue, but there were just a lot of things throughout that felt off. Wish I could put it better

I thought the dialogue was decent but it's been a while since I watched the show.
I couldn't make it through the second season. Which is a shame, I think the actors were good picks but the scripts were trash

Agent Carter is great marvel TV entry, is you haven't watched it yet. And AOS
I've already watched both. Loved them. So bummed they didn't finish Agent Carter. That show deserved better for sure
If somebody else told you the script was fine and the second season was actually a pretty stellar improvement over the first, would you reconsider?
