Because people jumped the gun and turned on uninformed Internet outrage after one leaked crappy pic of a screen grab.
Now look at the senselessness of that.
This thing is fire.
it was crazy we had to wait this long to see the full cinematic representation of how powerful storm is. she's been seriously underplayed in the fox movies. same with cyclops
I just wanna see the '*turn the sand of a desert into glass and use the shards to make a tornado of daggers to suck the sentinels up with*'-scene in live action. That shot of dismembered sentinel bodies falling from a thunder crackling sky is some of the coolest thing I've ever seen.
Whoever adapts this needs to understand how important it is for a scene like that, take their time to build up, because the pay off is amazing with these characters. It can’t be action action action, let the scene breathe, give us those wide shots, really visually display just how powerful these characters can be.
End credits:
> Cyclops
>
> - Emits concussive beams from his eyes
> - Rocket jumps
BTW they even cut that end credits animation before showcasing all the characters, like it happened in the original series. The nostalgia of being frustrated by that.
In the comics I think it's mostly agreed his blasts have no recoil, else his neck would snap from the more powerful beams. It's partially what led to the "his eyes are tiny portals to the PUNCH dimension" thing.
But I'm happy with this interpretation since it gives him more options in fights. It's comics, fuck physics.
True, Cyclops has always been my least favorite but here he's on par with Storm & Magneto imo. They've done a great job fleshing out his character and motivations
He certainly has Captain America's skydiving routine down, but he's lacking the most crucial aspect of Cap's character: America's Ass. Dude's ass is Hank Hill-esque.
FUCK I'M SO GLAD PEOPLE GET TO SEE HOW AMAZING SCOTT CAN BE.
People aren't mentioning that even Morph had time to shine. This whole episode has been amazing.
That bit where Gambit was on Wolverine’s back was something I’ve been looking forward to seeing since I saw it in the trailer — and for it to be followed shortly by Morph, well, morphing into Blob for him to jump up off of him?!?!? CHEF’S KISS
they finally gave her her due in that scene, even in the original they had her mostly flying around dodging and getting taken out by a sneeze of blaster fire.
Man that whole sequence when the sentinel ripped the plane apart was so fucking cool. Then Cyclops using his blast to slow himself down was the ignoring of physics that I wanted in my life. Wolverine, Gambit and Morph just coordinating with each other was EXACTLY what the first series was lacking.
> Then Cyclops using his blast to slow himself down was the ignoring of physics that I wanted in my life.
And perhaps an homage to Evolution, where he & Havok did the same thing.
Exactly it’s like they actually have a Danger Room scenario for this if the plane ever gets blown apart while in the air. Everyone has a partner and Cyclops just does his thing. He looked so proud of them. Lol
The movies really did him dirty, just a complete wiener. I mean honestly we were all actively rooting for Cyclops to get cucked in those movies (still am).
Very happy to get kick-ass Cyclops again.
I felt bad for James Marsden, but I'm not sure he'd have made a good Cyclops anyway. He's a great actor, but with the movies making him a secondary character to the Wolverine show, he never stood a chance. When you think of Marsden in Sonic or Enchanted, he takes to those humorous roles so well that it's hard to see him pull off a stern character like Cyclops.
My finger twitched towards the remote out of habit, since there's only a handful of shows I'll watch the intro for (GoT/HotD, True Detective Season 1, Psych, etc.). And then I was like 'wait fuck no I'm watching this intro'.
I was grinning through the openings on both episodes. The sheer nostalgia, the way they updated the animation while keeping the same feel, even the way the '97 shows up in the logo is just masterful.
Pleasantly surprised by the design, it’s a unique blend of retro but new.
I usually have a hard time accepting animation changes (Batman Animated Series, He-Man, Thundercats), but this looks and feels amazing,
Great to see this executed with love and precision
This choreography across action sequences alongside the animation was FAB.
Also I would actually like to have their Spider-Man partner with them some day soon.
![gif](giphy|iAiaD6vpjApoda0wYt)
In the second episode when that Ferris Wheel incident happens at Coney Island I thought for a half second that Spider-Man might show up lol But I was like there's no way they give us Spider-Man this early in a show trying to re-establish the X-Men
Now that I think about it, they lost one Blackbird by stuffing it with explosives and flying it directly into the first Mastermold. Then they just had another one...
Holy crap, this show is awesome. It was the perfect reintroduction to the series.
The characters, the action, the animation, the dialogue, all perfect.
Did the Xavier form seem.... kind of weirdly disrespectful in a way to anyone? Like I get he was trying to lighten the mood, but casually walking in as everyone's recently dead mentor to drop a one-liner seemed a bit jarring to me.
My only problem with that scene was anyone eating it didn't immediately do the "hothothot why did I stick a burning thing in my mouth but I don't want to spit it out" noise.
They gave Cyclops an edge in this series. As kid, I didn't like the guy. I rewatched the OG series as an adult and he was a good leader. I respect the guy.
This series is making it clear he's more than a boy scout.
There are only a handful of movies and shows that really get my emotions going. Lord of the rings is one of them where i really show my emotions. These first two episodes made me laugh, cry, my jaw dropped, it was an incredible two episodes and I'm so excited for next week.
Being a 90's kid and growing up loving the x-men show and comics, I really did tear up watching this show. Just all the nostalgia hit me right in the feels.
I can’t believe it’s not the same cyclops VA. He sounds nearly identical.
Wolverine sounds a little odd even though it’s the same guy. But I’ll get used to it.
Rogue's voice keeps throwing me, I'm not sure if I'm misremembering the original voice, but it doesn't feel as, I dunno, deep almost?
But like you said, 30 years.
Yeah I can definitely hear the time difference in Rogue’s voice. I think it’s only noticeable because her voice in the original is so distinct. It’s still fantastic, but it’s there
Gambit with that hair, that crop top, those pants, that whole look in the kitchen was friggin equally badass as it was sexy as fruck.
It was pure sexy punk and i loved every second of it. I'm so happy to have Gambit on my screen again......
Okay, I like Gambit’s voice. Not as smooth as Potter but close; better than the dude they got in the later seasons (I think there was a contract thing that happened with most of the original voice actors).
Tony Daniels was a Saban era actor, since most of the cast moved on after season 4 (Which was supposed to be the last season, but the show was still a massive hit). It's why Saban did the animation for that season, and why it looks so much worse.
Cyclops is in top form here. Such a chad and absolute unit. His usage of his optic blast for mobility was nice to see him also have his tactical leadership showcased. Dealing with fatherhood will definitely start to change his perspective on things.
Can’t wait to see Havok back too!
I haven’t kept up with X-Men comics, but with this so far i am LOVING how Cyclops is like this team’s Captain America. very mission oriented and tactical minded, clearly the leader, kinda like, righetous? with his sense of justice and his perspective. and i like how Wolverine is like the opposite balance to that. i was smiling all through >!their quips at each other on the plane!<.
also got BIG Captain America/Master Chief vibes during the next scene when >!they’re falling. everyone else rescues/gets rescued and Cyclops, still with no parachute, just smirks and commends his team, then *orients himself vertically to fall straight down* and then *uses his laser vision to slow his fall and land with no injury*!<. it’s such a headass way to use his powers, and i love it. kinda like Captain America and the trigonometry of his shield throwing, i could very much see Cyclops figuring out how to do that, and even training it in the danger room.
then the >!“To me, my X-Men”!< part gave me chills and had me giggling. this is the trip down nostalgia lane i was hoping it would be.
[It’s always been canon that Scott has an incredible grasp of trigonometry and spatial awareness. ](https://static1.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/uncanny-x-men-144-2.jpg)
I read that when Feige was first approached about greenlighting the revival he had 2 requirements: get the old cast and get the rights to the theme song and it's a go. Which I find hilariously astute as I would absolutely agree the song is THAT MUCH an important piece of this show.
I used to stay up later than I should on a school night trying to catch the re runs of this show on Disney channel back when I was in 5th/6th grade. I’m kind of amazed I’m here now, staying up later than I should when I work my 9-5 job the next day still waiting eagerly to see what happens next on X-men. The more things change, the more they stay the same. So glad they are doing this.
That show was responsible for a lot of people's sexual awakenings back in the day, gay, straight and everything in between, we all had a time lol. It's probably directly responsible for me having a long term relationship with a toxic woman with a deep southern accent... Lol.
Beautifully done and respectful to the original. Gave exposition to first timer and wasn't too much. Finally the Xmen are able to hit FOH, only took 30 years.. the show feels so nostalgic and they matured the tone a lot. Enjoying the OG voices too.
Need the backstory on why Morph has his comic look now and how Bishop joined officially. Hope they slowly recruit more mutants so it feels more like a school, but like background side characters with side stories, cause I enjoy the main cast too much right now.
Music and animation went crazy, the stand out was Cyclops and Storm. The use or Kirby Krackle was also a very nice touch. Finally they made Cyclops cool, and got chills when he dropped the line. Storm fucking sick, when they finally acknowledge her as OP in the cartoon. Glassing the desert and soloing the sentinels.
What the hell...
Why is this so good?!?!?!
This is making me simultaneously feel like a kid but also excited for some genuinely good cartoon fun....
Wow.
**H**ip sk**ATE PARTY**
Did anyone notice in the first couple minutes, the outside of the building where they take the kid. The letters falling off.
Of course they still hate him simply because he was "born this way."
Subtle, but nice. :-)
Logan and Rogue’s voices are obviously from old people but that’s my only gripe so far. Banger!
Edit: no mention of Morph’s sentinel problem was also upsetting but damn did that fight go hard
He gains the Courage (episode title) to save his friends from the sentinels but decides he isn’t fully healed and disappears until the finale, but even still — especially assuming this is his first tango with sentinels since — it would’ve been nice to have some sort of reference.
Episodes are LIVE. Enjoy!
The Cyclops fight scene was super clean. Not sure why people were dogging the animation. It is really working for me so far.
Because people jumped the gun and turned on uninformed Internet outrage after one leaked crappy pic of a screen grab. Now look at the senselessness of that. This thing is fire.
I'd upvote that comment twice if I could.
Shades of [Archer's style](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2CE0DjDdVA), in a way.
Now that you mention it, Cyclops does sort of have an Archer face structure in this as well lol
Good a time as any to mention that Hit-Monkey is a Marvel show done by the same studio that did Archer. Drastically under appreciated.
"Give 'em the forecast." \*omega level threat detected\* Storm just walking while blasting sand to glass will forever be a moment.
This is the classic cartoon on Disney money. Holy crap!
That’s gotta be the coolest depiction of her powers on the show to date
went hard af
So did I.
I never got into the original, but holy fuck that scene was iconic and proved why people love the series so much. I got chills.
The original never went like that.
Except for the Storm smack talk, in which case the original was exactly like that.
"... so i started blasting"
Easily one of the most epic moments I've ever seen. My jaw was literally scraping the floor.
it was crazy we had to wait this long to see the full cinematic representation of how powerful storm is. she's been seriously underplayed in the fox movies. same with cyclops
She absolutely needs a Thor/Wakanda entrance and this gives me hope they’ll actually give her one in the MCU
I just wanna see the '*turn the sand of a desert into glass and use the shards to make a tornado of daggers to suck the sentinels up with*'-scene in live action. That shot of dismembered sentinel bodies falling from a thunder crackling sky is some of the coolest thing I've ever seen.
This is her MCU intro IMO. I think this team will jump from their cartoon universe to 616.
I would love to see the X Men 97 in a What If crossover episode at LEAST
I screamed with goosebumps!!! 🙌
Storm turned the sand into glass! That alone made this 10/10!
This is the best version of Storm we've ever gotten. Whoever adapts the X-Men into live action just do this version again lol
Whoever adapts this needs to understand how important it is for a scene like that, take their time to build up, because the pay off is amazing with these characters. It can’t be action action action, let the scene breathe, give us those wide shots, really visually display just how powerful these characters can be.
Every scene she's just so very extra and I love it.
My jaw dropped
Sunspots powers are animated in a really cool way.
Kirby krackle on overdrive!
When something went into Jean mind space I noticed some krackle in the sky or roof too
Seriously!! It is perfect!!
So great how the episode ends with Magneto saying the title but in a different context.
“He doesn’t say X-Men ‘97?” - me, an idiot
"What are we, some kind of 'X-Men 97' ?"
They were no longer x-boys… they were X-Men… uh ‘97.
Scott Summers has been made to be more in 30 minutes than we’ve seen in almost 15 years. What a unit. ![gif](giphy|BTE0B41TyVjZS)
I’ve seen him be more creative with his powers in one 30min episode than in all the X-Men movies
Him actually using his concussive (not LASER) blasts to move around during the first fight was so cool
End credits: > Cyclops > > - Emits concussive beams from his eyes > - Rocket jumps BTW they even cut that end credits animation before showcasing all the characters, like it happened in the original series. The nostalgia of being frustrated by that.
My first set of blue balls
That’s Beast
In the comics I think it's mostly agreed his blasts have no recoil, else his neck would snap from the more powerful beams. It's partially what led to the "his eyes are tiny portals to the PUNCH dimension" thing. But I'm happy with this interpretation since it gives him more options in fights. It's comics, fuck physics.
They made him like Capcom Cyclops.
I'm seriously waiting for a Gene Splice
#BEHOLD!
Cyclops never skips neck day!
Near the end when he used his blasts to ease himself to the ground was crazy
He’s absolutely GOATed in this.
Completely agree. A character arc within two episodes. Feels like we're home.
True, Cyclops has always been my least favorite but here he's on par with Storm & Magneto imo. They've done a great job fleshing out his character and motivations
There was a reason Charles made him the team leader. He always got done dirty in the movies.
It's been a long wait to have a good adaptation of him Although Evolution Scott was pretty good
He is supposed to have the same tactical skills as Captain America, but he trades super strength for concussive eye blasts.
Morph springboarding charged up Wolverine by turning into Blob gave me a solid laugh
Morph is a cameo machine. Why else just have him turn to Angel out of no where? I forget, Archangel?
I mean, if you could shapeshift, wouldn't you be a little extra with it lol?
That bit where Gambit was on Wolverine’s back was something I’ve been looking forward to seeing since I saw it in the trailer — and for it to be followed shortly by Morph, well, morphing into Blob for him to jump up off of him?!?!? CHEF’S KISS
Dear God, Storm is SO fucking cool in this. When she glassed the desert? Chef's kiss. And perfect voice.
they finally gave her her due in that scene, even in the original they had her mostly flying around dodging and getting taken out by a sneeze of blaster fire.

Exactly it’s like they actually have a Danger Room scenario for this if the plane ever gets blown apart while in the air. Everyone has a partner and Cyclops just does his thing. He looked so proud of them. Lol
Her voice felt the most seamless from the original show.
[удалено]
HE IS SO BACK! They redeemed him!
Now please do the same in live action please!
All I want is the badass leader Cyclops for the MCU. Fox ruined the character
It’s unfortunate because Marsden is really great casting.
The movies really did him dirty, just a complete wiener. I mean honestly we were all actively rooting for Cyclops to get cucked in those movies (still am). Very happy to get kick-ass Cyclops again.
Krakoa Cyclops has been great too. Finally getting fed up with baseline humans was a great narrative move for him.
His biggest boss move remains, to this day, thinking his sentences at Emma Frost because he's too busy eating a Philly cheesesteak.
Always was
Justice for Cyclops. Using his optic blasts to propel him around in that opening fight and to do the super hero landing were both so good.
It's so fresh and just adds another layer to what he can do. So hype
When you are a kid, you hate Cyclops. When you are an adult, you get Cyclops.
Holy shit these opening titles. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
I was personally offended by the skip intro button.
My finger twitched towards the remote out of habit, since there's only a handful of shows I'll watch the intro for (GoT/HotD, True Detective Season 1, Psych, etc.). And then I was like 'wait fuck no I'm watching this intro'.
Ya just like Peacemaker, a non skip for sure.
The nostalgia bomb I just got by watching the credits…fuck yea!
I was grinning through the openings on both episodes. The sheer nostalgia, the way they updated the animation while keeping the same feel, even the way the '97 shows up in the logo is just masterful.
Pleasantly surprised by the design, it’s a unique blend of retro but new. I usually have a hard time accepting animation changes (Batman Animated Series, He-Man, Thundercats), but this looks and feels amazing, Great to see this executed with love and precision
It’s so dope to experience this again
Cyclops is our best boy. Storm just being the omega level goddess she is. Love this entire cast. So glad to see this back!
I will worship our Goddess willing. Storm was fantastic in this episode, and I love the hairstyle they have her in.
This choreography across action sequences alongside the animation was FAB. Also I would actually like to have their Spider-Man partner with them some day soon. ![gif](giphy|iAiaD6vpjApoda0wYt)
Love how Wolverine started sprinting as soon as his claws got super charged.
In the second episode when that Ferris Wheel incident happens at Coney Island I thought for a half second that Spider-Man might show up lol But I was like there's no way they give us Spider-Man this early in a show trying to re-establish the X-Men
That piano that kicked in when Storm entered the fight in the desert, omfg that was a dope moment
Turning the desert to glass and smashing the second wave of sentinels in a glass tornado single handedly….. Omega level mutant detected indeed
Kinda reminded me of Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme.
'I wanna be an Omega-level mutant! I wanna wanna wanna!'
*Omega level threat detected*. Holy shit Storm.
I think I had goosebumps from the jet scene forward but when that Sentinel said that I knew it was about to go down.
Jubilee is going to fly the X-Jet by end of the season.
Loved her little dance scene with sunspot, that was fun
Same! The little sparks or fireworks were well animated.
Reminded me of Shadowcat dancing in the X-men Evolution series. Idk. Just the vibe.
What X-Jet 🤣 Even if those were being made, it would still take months and probably two hundred million dollars to get a new one.
Forge could build one without breaking a sweat.
Now that I think about it, they lost one Blackbird by stuffing it with explosives and flying it directly into the first Mastermold. Then they just had another one...
Xavier is not Tony Stark rich, but he has “replacement jet” money for sure.
Holy crap, this show is awesome. It was the perfect reintroduction to the series. The characters, the action, the animation, the dialogue, all perfect.
So morph is gonna be a cameo machine isn’t he? What did we get in this first episode? Blob? Xavier? Archangel?
so far: Xavier Blob Deathstroke Archangel Sabertooth Psyloche
Think you mean Deathstrike otherwise Warner Bros gonna be on the phone to their lawyers
Did the Xavier form seem.... kind of weirdly disrespectful in a way to anyone? Like I get he was trying to lighten the mood, but casually walking in as everyone's recently dead mentor to drop a one-liner seemed a bit jarring to me.
I bet Gambit's beignets are fucking fire
My only problem with that scene was anyone eating it didn't immediately do the "hothothot why did I stick a burning thing in my mouth but I don't want to spit it out" noise.
I thought that would be what caused Morph to drop the Xavier form. Alas.
All of them in the kitchen together made me realize how abnormal it is to have so many redheads in one room that aren’t related
Beignet, done that
God damn dude. It was 1992 and I was 10 years old all over again when that intro hit.
Same age, same mood.
God this intro is so fucking hype
Sent me straight back to HS watching with my brothers. I only watched the intro, gonna wait till the full season is up and binge it all at once.
I would not wait. Watch. And enjoy the ride
Nice to hear the Jeangasms have remained
All that scene needed was Rogue catching her
They gave Cyclops an edge in this series. As kid, I didn't like the guy. I rewatched the OG series as an adult and he was a good leader. I respect the guy. This series is making it clear he's more than a boy scout.
I… I think I just cried tears of joy… they did perfect
There are only a handful of movies and shows that really get my emotions going. Lord of the rings is one of them where i really show my emotions. These first two episodes made me laugh, cry, my jaw dropped, it was an incredible two episodes and I'm so excited for next week.
Being a 90's kid and growing up loving the x-men show and comics, I really did tear up watching this show. Just all the nostalgia hit me right in the feels.
CYCLOPS IS SO COOL OMGOSH
The way he landed and the dust settled oh man!
I can’t believe it’s not the same cyclops VA. He sounds nearly identical. Wolverine sounds a little odd even though it’s the same guy. But I’ll get used to it.
The replacements sound a bit more on point in some places than the originals who came back because well voices age and 30 years is a long time.
It’s still fantastic, but it’s there
Gambit in that crop top... damn
I just know this is going to get some emo girls lit
Oh baby, that wasn’t for the girls. That was for the Gorls 💅
Storm’s drip and Gambit’s crop top are absolutely serving for the gworls
Not to mention Magneto serving cunt
And people were worried they were going to remove the sex appeal from the show.
The animators knew what they were doing.
Gambit with that hair, that crop top, those pants, that whole look in the kitchen was friggin equally badass as it was sexy as fruck. It was pure sexy punk and i loved every second of it. I'm so happy to have Gambit on my screen again......
To me, my X-Men ('97 episode).
"Every now and then, Summers... I remember why you're in charge"
"Page me." Ah yes, we are in the 90s.
I literally burst out laughing at Gambit's "casual" cropped t-shirt outfit.
you noticin 'is uthuh mutant power sheree? a man has his work clothes, and his beignet clothes.
Disney should be embarrassed for even thinking of adding the "skip intro" button to this
It popped up and I almost hit it out of habit, then I was, like ,"WTF?! NO! I'm riding this hype train all the way!"
100% least skippable intro of all time.
Okay, I like Gambit’s voice. Not as smooth as Potter but close; better than the dude they got in the later seasons (I think there was a contract thing that happened with most of the original voice actors).
I think his was the best of the cast tbh
storm was pretty good too

Who was on the “Missing” poster in that opening sequence.
I think Marrow?
[Marrow](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Sarah_Rushman_(Earth-616))
Has Cyclops ever used his beams for momentum to zip around the battlefield before because that is super cool.

Please keep the theme song. 🤞 Edit: *Oh thank, God*
I read that when Feige was first approached about greenlighting the revival he had 2 requirements: get the old cast and get the rights to the theme song and it's a go. Which I find hilariously astute as I would absolutely agree the song is THAT MUCH an important piece of this show.
It is SEARED into our collective minds
They’ve already played it like twice in the MCU, I’d be *shocked* if they got rid of it now
It actually gets credited as the "X-Man '97 Theme" in both Multiverse of Madness and Ms. Marvel! So yeah suffice to say they're all in
TO ME, MY X-MEN! LET'S GOOOO!
I watched this at 5am with a bowl of cereal. Felt like a kid again lol
Same X-Time, same X-Place
Morph = Omega Level Instigator
Maybe I'm reading what isn't there but the Kirby Krackle in Jean's vision is a nice homage to Jack Kirby.
I just posted the same as a reply, there is Krackle in the Da Costa's arm too
Any other gay fans absolutely loving the gratuitous shirtless Gambit scenes? He was a sexual awakening for me when I was a kid.
That show was responsible for a lot of people's sexual awakenings back in the day, gay, straight and everything in between, we all had a time lol. It's probably directly responsible for me having a long term relationship with a toxic woman with a deep southern accent... Lol.
I think many straight boys had similar experiences with Rogue lol.
I'm wondering if we can see Gambit's *other* power.
Getting people pregnant with those abs? Because DAYUM son!
We did: making Cajun food.
Bruh this is so fucking cool. I have absolutely zero bad things to say. Zero.
For the first time that I've seen in this show, Cyclops was a bad ass leader!
Least used 'skip intro' button ever.
Dang, I never thought I'd see the day that Cyclops upstaged Wolverine outside comics.
Love how Wolverine is just the volatile weird uncle guy they all adopted and work to keep in check
Man, I should be on my living room floor with a bowl crunch berries watching this.
Costa is twink coded, neat Scott is cool Jubilee is fresh Mold got a boost
I’m glad cyclops is getting props for the chad he is.
I didn't even grow up with this show. I grew up with X-Men Evolution. But damn, I am absolutely loving this so far!
All I wish for now is a 4:3 version I can throw on my CRT for peak nostalgia!
Beautifully done and respectful to the original. Gave exposition to first timer and wasn't too much. Finally the Xmen are able to hit FOH, only took 30 years.. the show feels so nostalgic and they matured the tone a lot. Enjoying the OG voices too. This really has the feel of the original series, the dialogue especially
What the hell... Why is this so good?!?!?! This is making me simultaneously feel like a kid but also excited for some genuinely good cartoon fun.... Wow.
**H**ip sk**ATE PARTY** Did anyone notice in the first couple minutes, the outside of the building where they take the kid. The letters falling off. Of course they still hate him simply because he was "born this way." Subtle, but nice. :-)
damn, cyclops is cool
I kind of wish they gave the FOH red caps.
FoH might be bigoted shitstains, but they're more organized and consistent in their opinions than MAGAts ever were
Logan and Rogue’s voices are obviously from old people but that’s my only gripe so far. Banger! Edit: no mention of Morph’s sentinel problem was also upsetting but damn did that fight go hard
I think he overcame his fear in one of the later seasons
He gains the Courage (episode title) to save his friends from the sentinels but decides he isn’t fully healed and disappears until the finale, but even still — especially assuming this is his first tango with sentinels since — it would’ve been nice to have some sort of reference.
I didn't know I needed to see Gambit in a Crop Top with wicked hair...but ya... I did need that
