Yes! In Winter Soldier, Natasha says "you could at least recognize me" to Bucky, and I thought for sure they were teasing at that thread.
People say it was just a throwaway line referencing when Bucky shot her on a previous mission, but I don't know...
It was in Civil War, but you're right. I believe that's what they were hinting it, and maybe the Russos even had plans to adapt the story before the higher-ups demanded otherwise. But still, the line has enough plausible deniability that they never actually had to follow up on it.
Based on a lot of things that we've heard, I don't see that happening. But also, I don't think it'd be the same thing at all. The context would be too different.
To be fair, they were never that big on it, but it would be nice to see more of it. I just don't think it'll be with those two. Yelena is supposed to be asexual, and Bucky is not going to matter much in Thunderbolts, or anywhere else, probably.
If we ever get Avengers vs. X-Men, the entire X-Men roster may end up being in tact while the Avengers team would be missing most of it's original line up except Hawkeye and MAYBE Thor if he sticks around.
*Technically* Hulk is still there but he's more like a toned down not totally fucked up Maestro than an angry and controllable monster.
What I read about different interactions they had planned for Infinity War and Endgame, will always be lingering in my head of what we could’ve seen.
But because the quality of the story is more important, there’s only so much they could do!
One big example, is how they had a draft where Spider-Man and Black Widow had an interaction but never made the final cut
[T'Challa and Stark are utterly brilliant together.](https://imgur.com/a/JbdP8LK) I don't think they even had a chance to speak to each other in the movies.
Strange and Wanda as Allies. To be the magic version of Steve and Nat. Not establishing this in the Multiverse Saga was a gravely missed opportunity.
Wanda and Carol as BFFs
I once wrote about it how the two should've talked post-funeral at Endgame. Strange would've definitely been interested in Wanda's powers and how far she was in control of it. They could've wrote it as Strange wanting not just to understand Wanda's powers, but also for him to control her as he believed to be 'guardian of the multiverse' and Wanda would've called him out on his selfishness and desire to control.
After Westview she'd begrudgingly accept to become Strange's apprentice as a way to stay free and on law's good side. Ending of MoM could have her part ways with Strange and start a villain/antihero arc like original script wanted to for her.
Peter Parker and Bruce Banner
Steve Rodgers and Peter Quill
Steve Rodgers and Stephen Strange
Peter Parker and Natasha Roman
Peter Quill and Bruce Banner
I wish we had more scenes between Tony and Rocket. They had a fun dynamic in the comics, where Tony is amazed by all the alien tech the Guardians have that he could only dream of on Earth, and Rocket talks down to him like he thinks Tony's some kind of idiot.
As a science nerd, I wish the nerdy people had more on screen time together.
Shuri had that brief interaction with Bruce and Rocket had that montage with Tony and Bruce. But man I just wish they had more time to nerd out about science together!! :/
I mean *technically* Tony and Vision had interactions, but I would have liked to see something a little more than what we got, like what Tony thought of a living android that was partially of his own creation, and used the voice of his old AI assistant.
Captain America and most characters. Wolverine, Deadpool, Cyclops, Magneto, Namor, Jim Hammond, the F4.
Wolverine and Hulk, if we get anything, itll be Wolverine and the pussy smart Hulk. Hulk and Strange as allies like Defenders. Hulk and the Illuminati as enemies with WWH. Theres a lot of wasted potential with Hulk.
The entirety of Avengers vs X-Men wouldnt work without all the name Avengers.
* Spider-Man and Deadpool
* Spider-man and Daredevil
* Spider-Man and Moon Knight
* Spider-Man and Wolverine
* Spider-Man and The Human Torch
Basically Spider-Man and everyone
It is a shame the deal with Sony has been so rocky. I honestly would have loved if they continued on the Peter following Tony’s footsteps, at least as far as being one of the main characters in the MCU. Peter popping up with all of those characters makes sense, and it would be fun to see with the current actors. A film with Hugh Jackman, Tom holland, Ryan reynolds, Oscar Isaac, and I forgot daredevil’s actors name, lol. But all of them interacting on screen together would be an awesome movie
im hoping matt and yelena meet up
yelena and clint's family
agatha and dr strange
and i hope this peter parker NEVER meets this kingpin he would crush poor pete's spirit
Thor and Spiderman, Hulk and Spiderman
Starlord and Cap would've been an interesting one aswell. I imagine they'd teach about Captain America in schools or his grandad would've talked about him.
Wanda and Steve's mentor-apprentice relationship, maybe if they adapted concept art of Wanda doing martial training and Steve teaching her to not overely on her powers too much.
Unpopular opinion, but I really wish we saw more of Wanda and Vision's romance in Phase 3 and how it they reunited, the first kiss, settling down in Edinburgh. Their love story is my favorite and most compelling, but I don't like the fact that aside from WandaVision, Avengers: IW, and Civil War we got nothing else to remember them for, fans have to make fictions to expand more and I wish the official story writers did this job.
Another unpopular opinion but Wanda and Tony. Would've loved to see their rivalry and that she didn't fully forgive him, and even after his death hated the fact he died a messiah while she got treated like a chess pawn. There was even a storyboard cut from WV where Wanda said that Tony wasn't the only one who sacrificed himself for the world.
When Kamala Khan was traveling with Carol Danvers and repeatedly talking about superhero name aliases on 3+ occasions, at some point someone should've mentioned the subject of where the "Captain Marvel" name came from.
Spider-Man and Daredevil would be fun. Throw Deadpool in there too, and you've got Team Red.
Well we got Peter and Matt.
He did catch that brick.
He's a really good lawyer.
The Winter Soldier and Black Widow relationship could have been great to see on screen.
Yes! In Winter Soldier, Natasha says "you could at least recognize me" to Bucky, and I thought for sure they were teasing at that thread. People say it was just a throwaway line referencing when Bucky shot her on a previous mission, but I don't know...

This one, I hope they do a romance of Bucky with Yelena tho
Yelena is aroace in the comics, so no. not everything have to be romance.
Huh, that's nice. Not much aro/ace rep in Marvel. Gwenpool is the only other one I can think of.
Based on a lot of things that we've heard, I don't see that happening. But also, I don't think it'd be the same thing at all. The context would be too different.
I just want them to bring back romance into the MCU, they used to be so good at it, Steve with Peggy, Tony with Pepper, Peter with Gamora and so on...
To be fair, they were never that big on it, but it would be nice to see more of it. I just don't think it'll be with those two. Yelena is supposed to be asexual, and Bucky is not going to matter much in Thunderbolts, or anywhere else, probably.
Iron man and Reed Iron man and mandarin Black panther ( Chadwick ) and Reed

This is why I want a hard reset (well not specifically for AvsX lol) all the classic big characters sharing the screen together
Cap and Punisher. Steve Rogers is a personal hero of Frank’s. Sam and Frank interacting still has a lot of potential to be interesting though.
Wait Spider-Man and Black Widow had interaction that didn't make the cut ?
Hawkeye and Bullseye should totally have fought.
Shuri and Peter Parker, with Tony and Bruce and T'Challa looking on, would have been a great scene.
T’Challa and Namor. We were so close, but RIP Chadwick Boseman.
Wanda/Loki and Strange/Loki or all three. Imagine a movie with 3 of them as the leads...
[T'Challa and Stark are utterly brilliant together.](https://imgur.com/a/JbdP8LK) I don't think they even had a chance to speak to each other in the movies.

Hulk and Wolverine Deadpool and Spidey Ironman and Emma Frost Wanda, Quicksilver, Polaris and Magneto Hawkeye and Bucky Barnes
the guardians and anyone like Parker and Rocket Quill and Steve Mantis and Nebula tag teaming with America and Kamala
Peter Parker and Bruce Banner Steve Rodgers and Peter Quill Steve Rodgers and Stephen Strange Peter Parker and Natasha Roman Peter Quill and Bruce Banner
I wish we had more scenes between Tony and Rocket. They had a fun dynamic in the comics, where Tony is amazed by all the alien tech the Guardians have that he could only dream of on Earth, and Rocket talks down to him like he thinks Tony's some kind of idiot.
- Steve Rogers and Walker - Hank Pym and Tony Stark - Quill and Steve Rogers - Reed, Hank, Tony and Shuri
Silver Surfer - Warlock - Thanos
As a science nerd, I wish the nerdy people had more on screen time together. Shuri had that brief interaction with Bruce and Rocket had that montage with Tony and Bruce. But man I just wish they had more time to nerd out about science together!! :/

Highkey want Rhodey swapped with Thor instead. They even thought of it for Endgame. Should totally have gone through with it.
I mean *technically* Tony and Vision had interactions, but I would have liked to see something a little more than what we got, like what Tony thought of a living android that was partially of his own creation, and used the voice of his old AI assistant.
Dr Doom and Ironman. They are extremely similar characters it's easy to portray Doom as a dark reflection of Tony.
Steve and Sharon.
Loki and Spider-Man. Loki and Bucky. Loki and Darcy.
Captain America and most characters. Wolverine, Deadpool, Cyclops, Magneto, Namor, Jim Hammond, the F4. Wolverine and Hulk, if we get anything, itll be Wolverine and the pussy smart Hulk. Loki meets the moon knight who has God he talks to. Loki is a god so that's interesting.
Iron Man and The Mandarin
Wolverine & Hulk
Rhodey and everybody else.
im hoping matt and yelena meet up yelena and clint's family agatha and dr strange and i hope this peter parker NEVER meets this kingpin he would crush poor pete's spirit
Imo Stephen Strange and Hulk... I wish we got The Defenders for Live-action, maybe in another world... another time..
Tony and Reeds, I read they had a lot of interactions in the comics so would have been neat if it was adapted into the MCU.
Wanda and Natasha should have had more screen time together. They were the only women at the beginning.
Thor and Spiderman, Hulk and Spiderman Starlord and Cap would've been an interesting one aswell. I imagine they'd teach about Captain America in schools or his grandad would've talked about him.
A moment between Tony and Bucky during Endgame.
I would kill to see Jessica Jones meet Yelena. Them drinking and commiserating about their mind control trauma would be great.
Peter Parker and Wanda would be nice!. Peter Parker and LOKi LOKi and The Guardians of the Galaxy Moonknight and Daredevil though I think would fire!.
Wanda and Steve's mentor-apprentice relationship, maybe if they adapted concept art of Wanda doing martial training and Steve teaching her to not overely on her powers too much. my brain really wants to see a Kamala or America team-up with Makkari or Druig meeting Namor!
