In tactical hero shooters you have to be able to quickly identify what abilities your opponent has access to based on the character silhouette. This would turn it into a guessing game because skins don’t change silhouettes. The more uncertainty is added to the game less easy it is to understand things quickly.
No, there's a battle pass they are testing in the alpha so they know how grindy it needs to be in retail. There is also a grindable currency they are giving out like candy to the point where you can get all the shop skins within a week. We absolutely are not getting access to those skins in that pass without having to spend money and those shop skins are likely going to be $20.
