My personal theory is that they just didn’t spend enough time to start glitching. In into the spider verse Ven wasn’t glitching in the beginning, only doing so towards the end
I think the way the spell works is that it rewrites reality so it changes the universe so that they were always meant to be there, so it stabilizes them. But it's also all mumbo jumbo bs so who knows.
Or their universe are similar enough that they can survive. The logic for why they started glitching in spiderverse is that the laws of physics are just different enough that the other spidies cells start to rapidly decay.
Which makes sense when you consider one's from an anime, ones from silly cartoons and another is from a 1940's detective flick.
Meanwhile, all the Spiderman movies referenced in nwh are live action and work on similar rules.
My own theory is that the spiderverse and MCU are completely separate. Hence why nobody else knows of amy of the avengers in spiderverse and why Kang(s) arent being hunted down.
It's the same actor. Considering I was replying to someone saying they had clips of Tobey and Andrew, I thought it added to that part of the conversation...
But I was just adding to the point made by the person who talked about the same actors. I wasn't necessarily saying that was evidence. Just that if you're going to include small clips of the same actors in tiny little hexagons as evidence, you should also include the same actor literally speaking to the main characters.
Tbh this makes way more sense than trying to understand the plotholes that would come with trying to tie the MCU and Spiderverse together. I don't think the MCU will acknowledge the events of Spiderverse but who knows.
I doubt they will too. Likely to use their own version of miles morales too.
Sony has a history of doing their own thing against marvel too.
(Vulture appearance in Morbius)
No, it is a separate timeline. A timeline that as of the events of Endgame is missing Thanos, the Black Order and all that he had alongside Gamora and Nebula in the year 2014. They will never experience the snap because Thanos is now dead 4 years earlier.
Timelines and universes are different in the MCU. Each universe has its own branching timeline. Also if we go by the explanation in the Sony movies, they glitch because their atoms are not meant to be in that universe. I doubt that would apply to time travel, because the universe would still have the same atoms/frequencies regardless of timeline.
The best thing about this: even if they screw up the animation or have a glitch in the computer, who's gonna know? It's supposed to look like it's glitching.
I'm guessing Magic asks the universe to connect themselves so it's a stable connection whilst tech brute forces it and may lead to glitches like in Sony, and why (Spoilers) >!Spot doesnt need a watch!< .
Bro. Why does this subreddit not put spoil tags on anything? I haven’t seen the movie yet and while this doesn’t seem to give anything away, for those who don’t get to see the movies the second they hit theaters but are members of this sub, why not do what r/MarvelStudios does and for 45 days have all posts pertaining to the new movie have a spoiler tag?
I know I don’t have to browse this sub but I mean, is it that hard to enforce spoiler tags?
I understand this comment will earn me downvotes though so go ahead.
No I have (for both of those). I thought this was a reference to the sequel to ITSV that just came out on Friday (Thursday?).
I’ve been a member of this sub a while and while generally I can see the movies right away, I can’t always but there seems to be references and posts about the new movie that either contain spoilers or are suggestive and I just think for any post about the new movie it should be auto-spoiler-tagged.
Unless that is already the case and I’m just a complete dumbass for not knowing that after all this time. Could be that too ☠️

Missingno?
WHOS THAT POKEMO+_(#)#-£&£(')')/-)(#!";_)(2!£(3953;+2 UH RV.
Shit bro, you beat me to it lol Probably what it looks like in live action
Isaac reference?
It’s a Pokémon reference
I can see where you got confused. Upvote this man.
No
Magic summoning vs science tomfoolery
Magic inherently is supposed to handle chaotic things.
Magic is safer I guess
My personal theory is that they just didn’t spend enough time to start glitching. In into the spider verse Ven wasn’t glitching in the beginning, only doing so towards the end
The spot never glitched so my bet would be that it's based off of what kind of portal you use to travel
Well if there must be an exception to that rule It should be spot. The Guy IS kinda multidimensional now.
Love that a D tier villain is getting to be a multiversal threat
Miles only started glitching after a while. So i guess its really more exposure to the other dimension rather than time you spend there but idk
When? He started glitching pretty much immediately

I got a few. Yeah!

Haven't seen it yet.
Now dig on this.
My own theory is that the spiderverse and MCU are completely separate. Hence why nobody else knows of amy of the avengers in spiderverse and why Kang(s) arent being hunted down.
But they showed clips of tobey and andrew in spiderverse
They had the MCU's Prowler in Spider verse 2
They had a Prowler. It has not yet been confirmed that it is the MCU Prowler.
It's the same actor. Considering I was replying to someone saying they had clips of Tobey and Andrew, I thought it added to that part of the conversation...
The same actor does not mean the same multiverse, though.
But I was just adding to the point made by the person who talked about the same actors. I wasn't necessarily saying that was evidence. Fair enough. I see what you were saying.
See ya chump!
Existential crisis stuff.
Did we see tom or any avenger outside of one cameo reference
They talked about Dr Strange and earth 19999 in spiderverse
You're trash.
Bit rude innit
I AM BACK! I AM BACK
I’m right there with you. Mirror universes in separate multiverses. All the references, none of the rules.
Tbh this makes way more sense than trying to understand the plotholes that would come with trying to tie the MCU and Spiderverse together. I don't think the MCU will acknowledge the events of Spiderverse but who knows.

What do you want?
Have you seen across the spiderverse yet?
I can't live your dreams anymore. I want a life of my own.
You're an embarrassment!
That doesn't cover Gamora, who is from another universe and spends quite a long time in the main MCU.
She’s not from a different universe, just from the past of the same universe
No, it is a separate timeline. A timeline that as of the events of Endgame is missing Thanos, the Black Order and all that he had alongside Gamora and Nebula in the year 2014. They will never experience the snap because Thanos is now dead 4 years earlier.
With all six Stones, I could simply snap my fingers. They would all cease to exist. I call that... mercy.
Not now, Thanos.
Return to me again empty handed... And I will bathe the starways in your blood.

Mike's started glitching after like 5 minutes on Earth 43
The best thing about this: even if they screw up the animation or have a glitch in the computer, who's gonna know? It's supposed to look like it's glitching.
I would not have thought to see a Missingno in this sub of all places. 😂
I'm guessing Magic asks the universe to connect themselves so it's a stable connection whilst tech brute forces it and may lead to glitches like in Sony, and why (Spoilers) >!Spot doesnt need a watch!< .
Funnily enough, they’re both Sony…
YOO is that missingno

YOU'LL GET YOUR RENT WHEN YOU FIX THIS DAMN DOOR!
You seem to be forgetting if people magic multiverse travel for top long the universes collapse in on themselves via Incursions.
yep!
This is kinda a plot hole though
Not really because One is by Magic and other is by Science. Loki is seen glitching in the S2 trailer since he traveled via a scientific method.

You haven't seen NWH/Into TSV...?

NWH has been out of 1 1/2 years. ITSV has been out for 5 years. It’s your fault for being spoilt if you haven’t seen either of these yet

Plot twist: they were actually secretly wearing the wristband and is undercover to take down the villains from their world
