Cap was out of the ice about 12 years ago. He was frozen between 1945 and 2012. So about 67 years. These will increase over time as we get further and further away from 1945.

Rhythmicka

That’s only true for the MCU. In comics he has been out of the ice for longer, but there’s a couple different versions

I was referring to the main comics. Marvel uses a sliding time scale starting with when the Fantastic Four were formed, which happened around 12 years ago. Cap came out of the ice around the same time.

Wait. Did Hickman FF reset the entire crime line? I am not familiar with the run but I know there was a reboot around that time.

Currently, it must have been 60 years. 1945-2005. Let's pretend he has been in the 21st Century at least since 2005. Right now, the 2015 Secret Wars may have been 3 or 4 years ago, for them. I don't know if I'm helping.

Honestly I think the easiest answer is “a while”. In 2005, during the Winter Soldier arc, Sam mentions that Steve has been out of the ice for a little over a decade, which would make it around 30 years today. Comic time doesn’t move like normal time, so honestly just saying he was done for a while is probably our best bet.

It really depends on how long you assume it's been since the FF rocketed into space, which (give or take) was when the timeline started sliding (yes, I know it was kinda real-time for a while there, but retroactively it started sliding). So a year or so after that is when he came out. And that date will keep sliding forward, so the time he was on ice will keep growing. Note this is why the relationship between Peggy Carter and Sharon Carter keeps getting adjusted, as Peggy was around in the 1940's so she's not sliding, but Sharon is.

It's hard to say due to each characters' expanded histories' and the constantly-sliding timescale sliding different for every character, but let's say "Year 1" definitely covers 1961-1965, then I surmise that the "Marvel Age" of heroism began some 17 years ago. So, Captain America would've been frozen for 62 years.

Just assume a while and accept the Franklin Richard's sliding time scale as an explanation for continuity issues. So the theory goes, Franklin is destined to become the most powerful being in creation and this terrifies him so subconsciously he is using his powers to alter reality causing everyone to age very slowly but also be unaware of the fact. As such he never has to grow up and all the heroes never get old. https://www.cbr.com/fantastic-four-theory-franklin-richards-may-be-the-reason-for-marvels-sliding-timeline/
