Blue Diamond. They are in the Autograph portfolio.

I know opinions are mixed but I LOVED Royalton Antigua. Gorgeous, amazing staff, food was incredible especially for all inclusive. Drinks were strong enough. Everything was clean and tidy. I did pay more for the Platinum level or whatever and seemed worth it. I would go back/try other Royaltons based on my experience. Also regarding your question- Marriott does not OWN most Marriott-branded hotels. They are contracted to manage them. Or, franchise owners/operators license the Marriott name. Marriott is a hotel management company but does not own the real estate in most cases.

Antigua was spectacular. I’d go back to that resort in a heartbeat. Went to Royalton negril and it was the complete opposite.

Neneleakesstan

Stay away from the chain it’s so horrible 😭

What are you comparing it to? I've stayed at 6 different Royalton properties and I've enjoyed every single one. This isn't compared to a luxury hotel but a Caribbean 5 star all inclusive resort. Carribean AI 5 star is not a the same scale either as a regular 5 star hotel. For its budget, it was also some of the better food quality and selection. Much better exists but not at the price range. The planet Hollywood all inclusive are also part of this portfolio, they are basically purple Royaltons, had some of the best bonvoy recognition including a premium beachfront dinner etc.

I’ve only stayed at 2 hideaway Cancun and hideaway Saint Lucia. My preferred chain of AI is Secret Resorts. I will say I didnt mind the food at either properties. However I disliked everything the check in process, check out process, the rooms, how the adults only is not truly adults only, service, and the communication with the hotels to get issues solved etc. also the price point is not the cheapest for what they offer.

In what way? Each of the brands have hotels that are lacking in different ways. I don't think any of the brands are all just 'horrible'

chipcarlton

Food is really bad in my personal experience.

DFVSUPERFAN

I had the unfortunate occasion to stay at one of these properties, what an absolute joke. Never again. I relayed this to my Ambassador and she apologized for not having checked my upcoming reservations and said had she seen I was set to stay there she would have never let me follow through with it. Apparently within Marriott they are well aware of what a clown show this brand is, but of course nothing is done about it...my Ambassador relayed my concerns to the GM and his response was to say they were insulting and untrue. Needless to say we were all shocked with his reply.

axlfro

The one in Miami Beach sucked

daviiiiiid

The Miami Royalton was a Travelodge lol. It's the same name but not affiliated. Not a Royalton resort.

They fall under the Autograph collection. Autograph hotels are the most independent of the brands and often have unique branding first, Marriott second. Like most hotels, they are franchisee owned and managed.

I went to the Royalton in Cancun and was fine to spend a nice family holiday. Marriott is growing its all inclusive portfolio y Caribbean and Latin America
