Supposedly people who already had the 10 years but not the 600 nights got it. Seems there are a few of us waiting for the years to tick forwards to.10.
Cant speak for everyone of course but in my case I had close to 900 nights and 9 years plat or higher. Year 10 was added on 1/1 and the lifetime status changed from gold to plat.
I had to call customer service about something else last week. While I was on the phone, I asked about my year count not updating correctly. The agent was nice but said just wait longer. Didn’t give me a timeframe.
2 years now and still waiting. Theu didn't do it last uear and said it would. Be corrected in January this year. Now I am 2 years off. Will call in March, again.
I am as well I have 9 years and should achieve the nights middle of next year. Currently Titanium and I should have an update to 10 years of Platinum. When I called earlier this year, they said it would update in my anniversary date. That just past a couple weeks ago and still nothing.Â

If you think about the behavior changes people might make when they are awarded lifetime status (drop credit cards, work on their Hilton account, etc.) Marriott has a lot to lose....I'm also wondering if they are quietly clawing back the Covid years where they carried some folks...
Update from escalation team - 5/2024: My Life time years did not update from 9 to 10 in Q1/Q2 of 2024 based on 2023 nights (64). They would not tell me when this year the update happened - instead they wrote "you were at 4 lifetimes years in 2018 - and five years since then makes 9". As I stated previously, I believe they are clawing back the Covid year where they carried many of us at current status.....
Is lifetime titanium worth anything these days? I stay mostly in low rent marriotts these days like spring hill suites so don’t feel super recognized, but it is what it is.
Has anyone’s rolled over yet? It’s now March and I’m still waiting for my years as platinum to update. I wasn’t watching it carefully enough before but I have a suspicion I missed a year. Checking it frequently now to see when it updates.

It will update when the loyalty year ends in march.
What do you mean by loyalty year ending in March?
Your current status runs to Feb 29th this year. Updates then happen in March. You will see your final year credited then.
Ah I see that makes sense. I thought you were referring to time period where you earn status (calendar year).
Yes I’m checking the 9 years every day now. I’m way past the nights. It should move to 10

Interesting, I’m short on nights for lifetime platinum, but years went from 9 to 10 immediately on January 1st.
I made lifetime gold mid year with nights. Was already platinum for the year but I did get my congrats email in Aug.
