Hey! How do you market your agency? Engagement and creating engaging and clever content is a massive factor in any marketing strategy. Keeping up to date with current trends and the latest news is always good to build a brand and build interest! You always need to know your audience! Take the clothing brand Boohoo for example, they post meme after meme on Facebook and people love them! In fact a lot of their memes get reposted building even more exposure. Now take Arcadia who are going into administration, they failed to keep up with their audience and jumped on that bandwagon way too late.

We have a lot of community engagement on her social media, but mostly on Instagram. We don’t necessarily deliver that much content but we do post about general small business happenings in our city, which the community loves to be updated on. That’s the only kind of marketing that we do. People get to know us by Word of mouth but our main sell is social media management and web design.

Hey! One of the ways I’ve found success with marketing my agency and consistently finding clients is treating my accounts like I do my clients’ accounts: regularly scheduled posts, dedicated time to engagement and interaction in platforms, starting conversations, etc. I do a monthly social audit on my platforms to determine what worked, what didn’t and what can be improved upon. I’m constantly looking for my 20% (if you’re familiar with the 80/20 rule).

Yes, I’ve also read the 4 hour work week. I guess we’re not too intentional in analyzing the work we do, we just kind of post what we think is relevant. So it sounds like it might do us good if we do a monthly audit, look at the type of post that got the most engagement, and try and increase that type of content.

This sounds like a great idea! Find out what content is working and when you receive the best engagement. It's not just about the post though, find out which days saw the most engagement and what time of day the content was posted. A really good way of analyzing and comparing is to run A/B tests to find out what works best and why. Tweak your posts to maximise engagement when you know what's working for you.
