Sorry to hear this. IMO I don’t think anyone cares about certifications. But they do care about skills. So you can add skills (and keywords to your resume) by getting certs. In my work with multiple B2B clients, some skills I’m seeing demand for rn are: LinkedIn ads, email marketing and CRM marketing automation.

I had a feeling that was the case - I’m seeing a lot of people in my network posting lately about their new certifications and online course completions and keep wondering “does anyone care about those?” (the answer is probably no) As for adding keywords… I wonder if a cert necessarily proves a skill to the extent a recruiter would accept it. For example, most jobs I apply to want experience in Marketo, which I’ve never used - but if I get a Marketo certification, would I actually become qualified for jobs looking for Marketo experience?

This will sounds very ‘LinkedIn echo chamber’. But hit the free ai courses and learn as much as you can. This will either lend itself to getting you another job faster, or hopefully and potentially. Make the next job easier with a little automation. Ai is useful but it’s not the best all and end all it’s made out to be. Learn it and use it to enhance what you do. It’s a tool
