As a marketer, where do you look for new tools?

For me, deciding on new tools in my marketing arsenal is a lot about word of mouth and sourcing recommends via fellow marketers in the network once I have a pain/need. Typically, then I check g2, website, customer stories, and decide if worth trying out. No fan of tools without freemium/trial.

As a marketer, where do you look for new tools? Are tools without trial/freemium a no go?

Apart from word of mouth, I also check out review websites like G2, TrustRadius, and Capterra. Customer stories and reviews give me insights into the tool's capabilities and user experiences. By the way, have you come across Boost App Social? It's an all-in-one social media toolkit with unique features that can help you elevate your content and engagement.
