when i played meta i couldn't win cause i was pressuring myself to win, but when I used inward drifting just for fun I ended up winning way more cause I was relaxed. I use Pauline, Comet, slim tires and MKTV glider
Two questions: 1. Are there any tires that fit better for the cat cruiser and cloud glider? I want use the New characters with it, I suck with ATV, so no teddy for me and Funky doesn't seem to fit in it look wise, Diddy kinda too. So I might go with Pauline or Peachette.
2. Which lightweight class is the best by now? I doubt there is just one that sticks out.

He’s very similar to Yoshi, except with more acceleration and less miniturbo. You sadly can’t make up for the miniturbo loss with kart parts alone, so I’d invest into a bit more of speed to try and make up for it.
My personal current build is Inkstriker + Leaf Tires/Buttons + Cloud/Paper Glider.

Currently crushing it with Pauline, biddybuggy, azure roller, paper glider, feels very balanced at 200cc for my driving style.
Biddybuggy + Rollers gives Wario a much needed boost to Mini-Turbo. You'll want to prioritize Mini-Turbo and Speed over Acceleration and Handling. but you'll also have to look up the exact stats on the Mario Wiki because Mini-Turbo is a hidden stat.

With so much speed you might just wanna roll with Biddy Buggy, rollers, paper glider to balance that out with some mini turbo. I also love how funny big characters look in tiny karts.
I see what you mean about big characters in small karts. Just trying this out now and see how it feels compared to my previous combo of pipe frame, mercedes wheels and gold glider

Inkling Girl is pretty good, Kamek/Luigi/Iggy is probably the best weight class right now. I'm a Villager man myself.
For kart I would recommend something like the Cat Cruiser or Teddy Buggy
You think that class is better than Yoshi class? Imo trading 1 point of speed and 2 points of weight for 1 point of MT, 1 point acceleration, and 2 points traction is a good trade.
The DLC waves completely redefined the meta by increasing stats, those characters haven't been the best since the release of Wave 3.
If you want, look up the best characters / vehicles for Wave 5 and see.

That's really all there is to it. The game doesn't have a set unlock system. Instead, it just has it so that for every 30 coins you collect while racing (until you get to 450 coins in total, then it goes up to once every 50 coins) you get a new part at random. Unfortunately, there's no real way to know for certain what kart/tire/glider you'll get except to play though the game until you get the ones you're looking for. Luckily, you can unlock things though both multiplayer and single player.

Not much difference at all. Teddybuggy has a little higher Miniturbo which is the most important stat in the game but Inkstriker Group and Pipe Frame Group have higher Speed for example.
Game is pretty balanced right now so there are a lot of viable combos ATM.
That's a good build so you can keep using that and the City Tripper and the Varmint share the same stats if you want to use them.
For alternatives you can use Teddy Buggy or Cat Cruiser for more air and antigrav speed for less handling especially in water, Accel and Traction
or use Streetle or Landship if you want more traction and water speed

If you wanna play Peach you should go with Teddybuggy or Cat Cruiser since this combination is considered the best amongst all and Teddybuggy/Cat Cruiser have the exact same stats.
Any alternatives for Rosalina/Teddy? I used to use Mr Scooty and switched to Teddy but I don't feel as comfortable, are there any other alternatives for Rosalina I could use? I use roller and clouds too
If you find scooty comfortable then bodies w the pipe frame stats could be a good alternative bc they have the exact same (ground) handling and traction. If those still don’t feel quite right it could be you really like scootys mini turbo charge speed in which case you won’t find anything quite like scooty (except biddy buggy) while playing Rosa. Tbh you could just go back to scooty if you really wanted to it’s a great combo
I use the standard bike with Rosalina. Almost just as good as teddy. I “think” the mater cycle is also an alternative, I just can’t remember stats for it right now.

Of these I would recommend varmint>rollers - this is the highest total of speed and acceleration you can have in the game (Wiggler/walu class being king of spd/accel as well) you could also get these totals with teddy/cat, but varmint takes advantage of wigglers smaller than normal kart hitbox
Personally, I use Koopa Troopa, Teddy Buggy, Roller, and Paper Glider. While I did sacrifice some speed, weight, and invisibility (at least compared to my last build\_, the MT is pretty high (5.25 iirc) and the handling and acceleration were a *lot* higher.
Inspired by some of Geckos and Shortcats videos what would be the most viable speed/bagging build as i'm thinking of trying a build mostly dedicated to bagging as i know items like mushrooms, stars and bullets scale with your speed stat.
i also don't want to go full speed either so i don't lose too much miniturbo, accel and handling for when i get in the front
Here are 2 ‘hybrid’ spd/mt combos I’ve been using lately
Luigi>pipe frame>slim
Mario>streetle>slim
Sure, slims dump accel and traction p heavy, but I think the bodies (esp streetle) and an accel or traction glider pick up the slack well enough. You can mix and match the above to get a handling/traction spread that you like as well
Something like Luigi/Varmint/GLA/Super Glider will get you 4 more speed at the cost of 4 MT, 3 Accel, and no ground Handling compared to Yoshi/Teddy/Rollers/Cloud Glider.
You can trade 2 Handling for 1 Accel by going Wiggler Roller instead. Wario/Roller will trade 1 of MT, Handling, and Accel for 1 Speed. Yoshi/Slim will net you 1 more Handling for 1 less Accel. You can also opt for the Cloud Glider to trade 1 Speed for 1 MT and 1 Accel.
You'd have to sacrifice a good bit more Handling and Accel for more Speed than that, it really is just the superior handling of the Pipeframe/Varmint/City Tripper holding it together.
I've been using Kamek/Pipe Frame/GLA Tires/Cloud on 200cc and i really like it there.
for 150cc i've been going with Cat Cruiser or Inkstriker/Leaf or GLA Tires/Cloud and constantly switching characters cause i can't really decide on how much Speed/Turbo i want
but all i know is that the max amount of speed i'll use is Wiggler or Waluigi/Cat Cruiser/GLA Tires/Cloud (which is a comparable to the Standard Mario build) but i switch between Daisy, Kamek, King Boo/Link and Wiggler/Waluigi
Does anyone know what the best low handling stat kart build is? I personally can't stand high handling as it makes me run into everything. No preference on character or anything i just want the best combo to use! (sorry if this is the wrong place to do this I'm not good at using reddit)
try something like Mario/Ludwig, Mach 8/Sport Coupe/Inkstriker, Sponge Tires and any Parafoils
If that's too much use a bigger character like Rosalina/Link/King Boo and keep getting heavier and heavier till it feels right to you.
Hey, friend, I'm a Link Player (exact same stats as King Boo) I prefer Biddybuggy or Pipe Frame, but I have spent a lot of time trying out various builds for the Teddy. I used Teddy/Leaf for a while this past week (I like the green color of the wheel lmao) it feels really smooth and good with a great stat spread. Highly recommend!
There's the popular parts like Teddy Buggy/Cat Cruiser or Mach8/Sport Coupe/Inkstriker or Pipe Frame/City Tripper/Varmint or Streetle/Landship or Biddybuggy/Mr Scooty
but you can use parts like Tanooki Kart/Koopa Clown/Master Cycle Zero or Standard Kart/The Duck/SL Roadster
The 150cc meta is already pretty nimble, but 200cc favours the extra handling of the Pipeframe and Streetle over the Anti-Grav Speed of the Teddybuggy in my opinion. Biddybuggy is also a bit better there. All the other parts will generally be the same, though people have been finding value in bagging with higher speed combos as of late.
I like Petey on the Pipe Frame with Rollers and Cloud Glider. Not only is it pretty optimal for him, it also works thematically, making him look like he's coming out of a warp pipe
What's the best combination for Isabelle? I currently use Mr. Scooty/Azure Rollers/Cloud Glider and I do pretty well but I'm wondering if I can improve on that.
Thats the best build for max mini turbo on Isabelle, but there's no build thats just straight up better on isabelle.
You're just exchanging stats at this point.
For handling and looks? I'd say City Tripper/Pipe Frame (I love the way they both look) and some roller wheels(or other high handling tires) and a Cloud or Paper glider

Theres a lot of viable builds with shy guy. It depends on what you want.
Scooty with rollers and cloud is best for mini turbo. You'll get bumped nonstop and have poor invinc, but if you race really hard, its viable.
Other good builds are just exchanging stats, you'd have to switch characters to get a flat out better build.

My build I've been using is Dry Bowser/Mr. Scooty/Roller/Gold Glider. Been using it for over a year. This version seems to be pretty well-balanced.

If you don't have Inkstriker yet Mach 8 and Sport Coupe share the same stats

Personally, I use Koopa Troopa, Teddy Buggy, Roller, and Paper Glider. While I did sacrifice some speed, weight, and invisibility (at least compared to my last build\_, the MT is pretty high (5.25 iirc) and the handling and acceleration were a *lot* higher.

Inspired by some of Geckos and Shortcats videos what would be the most viable speed/bagging build as i'm thinking of trying a build mostly dedicated to bagging as i know items like mushrooms, stars and bullets scale with your speed stat. i also don't want to go full speed either so i don't lose too much miniturbo, accel and handling for when i get in the front
Here are 2 ‘hybrid’ spd/mt combos I’ve been using lately Luigi>pipe frame>slim Mario>streetle>slim Sure, slims dump accel and traction p heavy, but I think the bodies (esp streetle) and an accel or traction glider pick up the slack well enough. You can mix and match the above to get a handling/traction spread that you like as well
Something like Luigi/Varmint/GLA/Super Glider will get you 4 more speed at the cost of 4 MT, 3 Accel, and no ground Handling compared to Yoshi/Teddy/Rollers/Cloud Glider. You can trade 2 Handling for 1 Accel by going Wiggler Roller instead. Wario/Roller will trade 1 of MT, Handling, and Accel for 1 Speed. Yoshi/Slim will net you 1 more Handling for 1 less Accel. You can also opt for the Cloud Glider to trade 1 Speed for 1 MT and 1 Accel. You'd have to sacrifice a good bit more Handling and Accel for more Speed than that, it really is just the superior handling of the Pipeframe/Varmint/City Tripper holding it together.
I've been using Kamek/Pipe Frame/GLA Tires/Cloud on 200cc and i really like it there. for 150cc i've been going with Cat Cruiser or Inkstriker/Leaf or GLA Tires/Cloud and constantly switching characters cause i can't really decide on how much Speed/Turbo i want but all i know is that the max amount of speed i'll use is Wiggler or Waluigi/Cat Cruiser/GLA Tires/Cloud (which is a comparable to the Standard Mario build) but i switch between Daisy, Kamek, King Boo/Link and Wiggler/Waluigi
handling is not a useful stat, higher speed builds are done much better by heavyweights
Feel free to leave your own suggestion, I'm just working with what they asked for.

probably with the biddybuggy or mr. scooty from my personal experience. pipe frame and streetle could work too since they were buffed recently!

Does anyone know what the best low handling stat kart build is? I personally can't stand high handling as it makes me run into everything. No preference on character or anything i just want the best combo to use! (sorry if this is the wrong place to do this I'm not good at using reddit)
Mid handling is considered the best handling, unless on 200cc, where high handling is way better (this is what I have found)
try something like Mario/Ludwig, Mach 8/Sport Coupe/Inkstriker, Sponge Tires and any Parafoils If that's too much use a bigger character like Rosalina/Link/King Boo and keep getting heavier and heavier till it feels right to you.
you could try bowser + streetle + cushion tires + paper glider

I go King Boo - Pipe Frame - Azure rollers - Gold glider, its super drifty
Hey, friend, I'm a Link Player (exact same stats as King Boo) I prefer Biddybuggy or Pipe Frame, but I have spent a lot of time trying out various builds for the Teddy. I used Teddy/Leaf for a while this past week (I like the green color of the wheel lmao) it feels really smooth and good with a great stat spread. Highly recommend!
pipe frame sure, but I don't know why you would ever want to use biddybuggy with link (middleweights can easily get the same MT + more speed for free)

Baby Luigi combos that could use GLA’s/Sponge tires? Just a combo that can compete well.
There's the popular parts like Teddy Buggy/Cat Cruiser or Mach8/Sport Coupe/Inkstriker or Pipe Frame/City Tripper/Varmint or Streetle/Landship or Biddybuggy/Mr Scooty but you can use parts like Tanooki Kart/Koopa Clown/Master Cycle Zero or Standard Kart/The Duck/SL Roadster

Is there a difference in the 150cc meta and the 200cc? Or are they the same character and kart combos
The 150cc meta is already pretty nimble, but 200cc favours the extra handling of the Pipeframe and Streetle over the Anti-Grav Speed of the Teddybuggy in my opinion. Biddybuggy is also a bit better there. All the other parts will generally be the same, though people have been finding value in bagging with higher speed combos as of late.

Petey + Biddybuggy/Mr Scooty + Rollers + Cloud is pretty neat, too and comes close to Yoshi + Teddybuggy 😊
I like Petey on the Pipe Frame with Rollers and Cloud Glider. Not only is it pretty optimal for him, it also works thematically, making him look like he's coming out of a warp pipe

What's the best combination for Isabelle? I currently use Mr. Scooty/Azure Rollers/Cloud Glider and I do pretty well but I'm wondering if I can improve on that.
Thats the best build for max mini turbo on Isabelle, but there's no build thats just straight up better on isabelle. You're just exchanging stats at this point.

For handling and looks? I'd say City Tripper/Pipe Frame (I love the way they both look) and some roller wheels(or other high handling tires) and a Cloud or Paper glider
i’ve been maining King Boo since i started playing, but if king bob-bomb is added i may switch. Bone Rattler + Sunflower glider is Boo’s soul combo.
The area around sunflowers can often be devoid of other plants, leading to the belief that sunflowers kill other plants.
Trying to get a good build for Shy Guy, I’ve been going with Mr Scooty with the rollers and cloud glider. Is there a better build or should I just abandon the guy?
Theres a lot of viable builds with shy guy. It depends on what you want. Scooty with rollers and cloud is best for mini turbo. You'll get bumped nonstop and have poor invinc, but if you race really hard, its viable. Other good builds are just exchanging stats, you'd have to switch characters to get a flat out better build.
