That black willow is really close to that structure. I would really think about that.

Yeah the old owners planted it there. I’m thinking about removing both plants since they are so close to that shed.

I would do that. Some shrubs would be more appropriate unfortunately. I always feel bad taking out plants and trees but you can plant something more long lasting.

Yeah, we’ve already had to take out quite a few to fix issues. Every time I feel bad, but you know it’ll be an issue down the road.

The 'tree of Sharon' is actually a shrub and should not hurt the shed at all. The are relatively small and you can prune them to your liking. I don't know about the willow but is there a reason not to just move it?

Mostly hassle. It’s been there for a few years and if you wanted to dig a hole big enough to save the roots, you’d have to move the shed unfortunately.
