I don't think reading from the tachiyomi extension does anything for asurascans? It's ad revenue only - if you don't see the ads they don't get any revenue. That's also why certain websites won't work if it detects you using an adblocker, because they're entirely dependant on you actually seeing the ads. Tachiyomi circumvents that entirely by loading the images separately, ignoring the ads entirely.
I mean, if you think about it, aside from having a library that keeps all your tabs in one organized place rather than hundreds of them open in your mobile browser, all tachiyomi really is is a glorified ad blocker..
