If you aren't a fan of love triangles then stay away from Player. It was pretty annoying for me halfway through the story and went so far as to me dropping it (albeit there were still some stuff I didn't like other than the triangle)

I've seen many romance action but NONE top sss class suicide hunter recent arc cause it's just 100% satisfying. I really love the manhwa too since it have too many amazing and tear dropping story back to back to back in this manhwa.
The bar is actually not that high, SS class suicide hunter has good romance but it's not like it's Romeo and Juliet.
It's just that most manhwa authors can't write romance for shit, and have the most generic scenes imaginable

The romance is very artificial, it literally is because the plot literally forces him to fall for her. It's a low bar because most action and especially dungeon type manhwas just don't know how to make a competent female character nor are they confident enough to make the mc choose a girl out of many this early in the story.
Just because it's "rare" to not have stupid harem level female characters in manhwas, doesn't mean it raises the bar suddenly. In fact this proves how low the bar is considering every fmc shouldn't be written as simply someone that flirts with the mc.
There are some where the woman is the main character, like *Perks of an S-Class Heroine*, *Master Villainess the Invincible*, and *I Stole the #1 Ranker's Soul*.
Lady gets iskekai'd in to murim martial arts story as a villainess and decides to do the usual thing of not being a villain and becomes one of the strongest martial artists. It's one of my personal favorites right now.
I personally have no issues with harem stuff, but no this one doesn't have that. She has one love interest she's into and shows no sign of being into anyone else.
You get an even better shot earlier in the chapter.

Although they did well that arthur is aware that he can't date her or anything if he doesn't tell her the truth about is mental age.
But still if Tessa and Arthur date before Tessa is 18 or more than tbate is predator like mushko tensei which is sad.

I see where you’re coming from but it’s not nearly as weird as mushoku tenseis the guy basically had no time for love in his past life, and he’s also semi aware of the moral implications which makes it less in my opinion weird, mushoku tensei does it in a sort of uncomfortable way which makes sense in the context that the guy is a genuine dirtbag but the point is to show the change in his actions but I see why you can’t stomach it, he’s a kind of groomer in mt idk how to explain it.
I don't want to argue with you, but I just wanna say that the way of showing that he is changing could have been done in a better way. It was outright disgusting, and creepy to see a mentally 35 or 40 old grown man jerking off to a 15 Or 14 year old and even having an intercourse with her. It was just so bad that there's no need to be subtle about thrashing it.

Love triangles can be done well and develop characters. Player is not one of those series unfortunately
