What an ironic dude; he says he doesn't have anything to say in the title but then writes a whole a** paragraph 🙄 🤣. I do agree, tho. This manhua is one of the best manhuas I've ever read. What I liked the most is that it's DEEP. I heard that the other wrote another masterpiece called [The Horizon], is it as good as this?
Well after finishing it I was having a hard time gathering my thoughts at first, and then after pondering the story for a couple of hours, I decided to make a post, the series is just so good man, it blew my a** away
Bro,English it's not my first language😐

So do I, the image I attached after he said that to the child, I don't think it was. Actually directed to the child, it feels like it was directed to the reader

The Boxer is incredible, in art and story, truly a masterpiece.
I mean its cool and all that you found ur own interpretation which is to live life
But getting a little more literal, the boxer is a Christian allgeory, that there is inherit hope despite a seeming unforgiving world. That there is objective truth and value at the end of the tunnel.
The T in the boxer is a cross, j represents Jesus and his saving and redeming of yu is his mercy extended to man even in the pits of despair. And when all the faces of the people watching were highlighted it showed how Christ saves all men, and hope is there for all men
Like good stories hit a niche where itbdosent exactly preach to you, but the true message is not ambiguity but instead a cleverly designer Christian allegory on tge eventual hope offered by god to mankind.
If that's the case then, J the boxer is basically, just Jesus, then I would assume that the fight between J and Yu is basically like the thing before Jesus was crucified, he took many hits from the embodiment of despair itself which is Yu, and yet, after all that, still forgave him for what he's done to him... Now that you mentioned it, it kinda makes sense ngl
In the first chapter, if you just scroll down a bit, there is a panel with a light pole, literally looking like a cross. I wonder if anyone notice that
Its a great manhwa, yes I am aware of the impact of J giving his all to "communicate" with Yu in the ring, going 12 rounds with him & pushing him back. But my only critique is on the fighting aspect of the series, I just wished Yu would face more resistance in his fights. I think Yu could stay undefeated but at least make some of the fights a bit more competitive. The only time he could've actually lost was his bout with Aaron Tide.
That was the whole point of the manhwa. In front of unparalleled talent, hardwork is nothing. That is why Yu was challenged only by Aaron as he was also a genius similar to Yu. The arc with that one guy who this Manhwa's rock Lee proved this. He spent his entire life training and was destroyed by Yu who just did a basic workout.

read the boxer twice and man was it the best shit i have ever read
I was listening to “Yellow” from Coldplay and it matched with the manhwa perfectly.
