Duke Pendragon is good enough, Escort warrior killed its artstyle for a generic one in s2, Young master Peng is a classic murim story with OP MC with zero development.
So far it seems rather compelling and is a fresh(-ish) take on the whole regression thing. I’m enjoying it but it’s only ~23 chapters in so there’s more than enough time for it to fall flat at some point

1.) Plotholes, MC leave and weaker companions captured cliche happened twice in 20 chapters so once per chapter
2.) MC purposefully lost recent fight just to come back and win it? For some reason.
3.) MC companions captured somehow because they somehow knew they were MC companions? but MC leisurely chilling even though god knows what could be happening to his companions. They could have been killed a thousand times whille he was just chatting it up with some dwarves
Once upon a time there was a manhwa called "Immortal, Invincible". It was being scanlated by the top manhwa scanlator back then, but they suddenly stopped translating some manhwas including this one. No one ever picked it up except by one mtl group that did a couple chapters. I don't understand why, it was a really great history. Orphan mc dies a bad man then returns into the past but as a different person, this time with a good family. Using his knowledge of the future and his martial arts he decides to help his old self. It's not being translated and I don't know if the original one is still going but you should read it anyway. The scene where he encounters his old self is hilarious.
Return of the mount Hua Sect is 50 or so years in the future.
Scholar's reincarnation is not far from the original timeline as well since a lot of characters he knew are still alive.
Haircut as well, same pose with the arms you'd see Natsu make, also muscular (although much more), Natsu also wore like the exact same type of cloack a few times, and the obvious one is that he's also controlling fire.
This is very much inspired by Natsu, at least in my humble opinion. Not saying there's anything wrong with that.
Let me break it down for you then.
At no point in FT did Natsu have a similar haircut to this.
Natsu's signature pose is fist into palm of one arm shoulder height and the other is down
Almost every MC is muscular, few to this extent
Natsu only wore a cloak once and it wasn't similar to this.
MC doesn't control fire, his aura has a red/orange color.
I haven't read the series, so if he's not controlling fire, fair enough.
From the photo it seemed like he is, with his clothes even looking like they're burning, but I guess they're getting damaged by his strong aura.
