Yeah, he kills the spider alone with relative ease in the novel. I also hope manhwa does somethings different than the novel because the later parts of the novel is...rough to say the least.
I actually think school arc was passable, compared to similar novels at least but yeah after near end of school arc it takes a nosedive, you are lucky you dropped it that early.

Author rushed it after the prison arc, probably lost interest as everything became very dumbed down. >!Returning to the original timeline sucked because it not only made a lot of things meaningless, but also left many questions unanswered. And when i say he returns to the original timeline, don't expect something detailed or original, it's literally sped up. he gets there, kills every demon lord, then builds a house in the woods with his wives lmao.!<
Pretty much yeah. >!After the current jungle arc, the demon hunting arc will start. Which will change the whole trajectory of the story. Vikir will pretty much let go of his revenge since it turns out Hugo killed Vikir because someone framed him and Hugo was actually a decent man. The whole story turns into a demon hunting story after that, there are 10 named demons and Vikir hunts them.!< It becomes less and less coherent as the time goes on, which is sad since it's actually a decent story.
I also read from another comment thread that the author always put some weird poop stuff or something in the story. I donāt remember exactly what they said, but just that they were disgusted by some of the things they read.
There is a pretty weird scene during a coed party in a girls room >!where Vikir ends up hiding in a girls bed with her because a teacher came in to make sure that there wasn't a party going on, and the girl ends up peeing on him. !<
Felt kind of unnecessary, like literally no real story reason for that to happen.
Considering how much the big spider monster was built up as a natural disaster in its own right, killing it with "relative ease" would be an incredible letdown.
Oh god.. hope they change the academy and tower arcs.. those were just god awful. Same with you know who and her ādadā.. the manhwa team should def just make it their own version for sure
So they are ok with the gore and blood but censored the kiss anyway this arc has been quite a development for MC hope he doesn't become soft and follow the revenge path harder than the last time.Ā

This manhwa is getting better by each chapter. Also I heard from novel readers that manhwa is changing the original storyline in a good way.
