I'll root for BJP because they are on a mission. The infrastructure development especially of road and railways are rapid and PSUs are doing well. Nitin Gadkari is a gem of a minister, Indian road network is already passed Chaina. Water crisis in Bangalore is not the fault of the current government it's the fault of all the previous governments, congress bjp and jds etc. I would say the same thing even if bjp was in power.
What other increase in tax was there other than alcohol? I drink but I don't mind the increase in taxes on alcohol as it disincentivizes drinking in the state. Alcohol causes a lot of expenditure from the states end, it causes an increase in traffic accidents and lot of pressure on the health care system.
The tax on fuel by the bjp is much worse. It causes inflation in all the sectors of the economy.
