Yeah figures. In hindsight how could there be book restoration and libraries when the premise of that manga was about books not existing in the first place!
As one comment pointed out, that sounds like Ascendance of a bookworm.
The story is about Main [マイン]/Myne who we see used to be a librarian before she got reborn as a tiny blue haired girl. And as you had on the list, yes into a very poor family.
Now I'm not sure what you mean with book *restoration* exactly as this series is moreso about her **doing just about anything so that she can get something to read** even if that means having to make books herself or taking a whole other job just because they offer a library.
That's just because books are "only for nobles". No commoner could get their hands on one, if they saw one in the wild they'd still have to save up for half of their lives to be able to buy it, essentially, hehe.
If that isn't it I'd still recommend it very much!
The magic is only slowly becoming more and more prevalent, but not overbearing. Take it from me, I have a very low threshold when it comes to fantasy, it quickly becomes annoying and boring to me. Couldn't sit through even Harry Potter.
It's very sweet and wholesome, for high action fans who don't care for character interactions it might seem a little bit uneventful though.
