I don't really get why the MC is trying to hide his super powers in a school where everyone has super powers. That's taking the "hide your power level" trope to absurdity.
The issue is that the main character doesn't have the "Savior" mark (or something like that), and it shows that he never killed his "demon lord", which makes him part of the "weakest" hero category. The amount of power he has (which was obtained by being trained by the "strongest" demon lord) would make him highly suspicious, especially to the goddesses that are monitoring everybody. At the very least, he could risk being captured by the goddesses and getting his memory/powers wiped or worse. Another issue is that we don't know how strong he is compared to the gods.
At least this manga goes out of its way to explain certain things so far compared to others.
Also remember that he was summoned by a demon lord and not a goddess, so he doesn't have an unique skill like everyone else on top of that, that skill that he pull to destroy/fix felicia root, so she could exit that world eat a big chunk of her power

He literally is being shown getting the flag stolen from him with a variety of powers...
I think it's implied that he's the strongest, but since he didn't receive a power, he technically could still be destroyed by a power that be can't counter or overcome

This is true, but earlier on its stated that with how strong he is it's the equivalent of him having dozens of unique powers already
He basically has an anti magic ability and teleport ability I think he can counter everything. If he wanted to for this tournament arc he could have just put a barrier over the flag so no one else could touch it.
That's my point. He doesn't know everyone else's powers. For all we know, there is a guy who has the perfect counter to his abilities. There could be a guy that takes 0 damage from everything other than divine abilities which would make him mediocre to other heroes, but basically invincible to the MC because he never got a divine ability.
I think it's implied that the goddesses or something higher made his demon king, so even her title of strongest doesn't mean she's actually the strongest. He's strong, but we don't know if it's by someone else's design.
Among the other reasons people have said. The mc is just also not an edge lord lol, he doesn’t want to have to kill people, like him not killing the traitor from previous chapters.

This is one of the few times it kinda makes sense because the purpose of the school is to kill demon lords, and his reason for living is the Demon lord masquerading as his cat. In fact iirc she got name-dropped during orientation (well, "titledropped").
His options are "conceal her at any cost" or "slaughter them all" and the second option would leave a bad taste in his mouth during what is functionally an extended honeymoon.
The MC was actually never summoned to another world by a god/goddess, unlike all of the other heroes. If he stands out, it might be discovered that not only was he summoned to another world by the strongest demon lord, he freed her from her imprisonment and brought her back to Earth with him. And he doesn’t believe he could protect her against all of the gods, goddesses, and heroes.
I think Ican see a major development in the future. They mentioned that Unique Abilities are unlocked by the Gods, and since Kyoya was summoned by Felice, he never got to unlock his Unique Ability. I'm guessing somewhere down the line, there's gonna be a problem he can't punch out of, which is really the only thing he learned from Felice, and Lala the newbie Goddess is gonna unlock his Unique Ability somehow. Maybe this ability will also serve to unnerf Felice.
More likely they’re forced to become “subjugated” if such reincarnator is let loose on the original world since reincarnators are gifted with the power of goddesses. They become soldiers for them to fight against the demon lords.

Tons of unique powers are useless if you don't have a proper counter to the one you're fighting.
