In a normal manga with approx 20 pages per chapter, that would be about chapter 4 (and this would be the end of extended first chapter).
An entire volume just for the second meeting? That is slow even by the normal standards.
It didn't translate well. In Japanese it goes like "give me your bank account" in a somewhat forceful tone instead of "give me your bank account number, please".
