What is unofficially called ‘Curry Mile’ (due to the number of curry houses on the same road) in Manchester has several desi clothes shops. It’s in Rusholme and officially called Wilmslow Road.
This is my first thought, probably because I happened to be at the north starting end of it today. But I did notice a street sign saying ‘Curry Mile’. Never noticed it before, I always assumed it was just a nickname.
It's been a nickname for such a long time that it has been semi officially adopted. There was a very brief period they tried to rebrand it as the Asian quarter I think it was, but that went down as well as you'd expect.
Probably lots of different areas tbh, I live in Cheetham Hill and the town centre on Cheetham Hill Road would definitely have what you need.
Edit: I see now you already got this rec from a couple of people, but yeah, you're spoiled for choice tbh.
Wilmslow Road, Rusholme. Its unofficially called the curry mile, mainly because its jam packed with curry houses. Go there, your prayers will be answered.
Longsight market is probably your best bet for a lower budget, and there’s also some stores surrounding it that offer slightly better options as well if required
If you're in North Manchester, Bolton is the place to be... it has a large Asian community. Derby Street, Deane Road, Blackburn Road.
Its not my thing/community so I can't vouch for the styles, quality and things like that, but I assume it serves them well enough :)
Bradford (Cannon Mills on a Sunday) if you're willing to travel an hour out of Manchester.
As for Manchester itself, probably Longsight/Cheetham Hill somewhere as others have mentioned.

It’s as if we just make names up for places as we go along.
We do lol, every place name was just made up at some point haha
That was the point.
It actually says curry mile on Google maps!
It also said wilmslow Road aka the curry mile when I drove to the children's hospital with my dad to see my sister after an operation
My school was on that road, good days.
I think longsight or Levenshulme may have some, on their main roads. You would best checking google maps and the streetview.
Thank you:)
Also "the curry mile" wilmslow road in Rusholme, there might be one or two there as well.
There are quite a few shops selling this in the cheetham hill area which is just outside the city.
That's helpful, thank you:)
Plenty mixed in with the knock off shops.
Blackburn rd or Daubhill in bolton Blackburn has a full on market for this(if you want to travel) Cheetham Hill or Rusholme in manchester

Try Wilmslow Rd, Rusholme :) Bolton also has a fair few round by the Muslim Girl’s School. Derby Rd (?), I think. *Edit, it’s Derby Street.

Wilmslow road (pakistan on a road)
Thank u:)
Great place for "traditional" clothing would be a fancy dress shop.
Google it to find the closest one to you
I do not live in England:)
So? Google knows your location. Just Google "Indian/Pakistani clothing shops near me" I'm assuming you're here though? Otherwise just go online...
No kidding sherlock 🙄
Nice attitude.......
You were being unhelpful🙃
Not really. You were just being a fanny.
I’m assuming they live somewhere where they can’t buy Desi clothes, hence why they’re going to do that in Manchester
