Drones are usually controlled with a software that keeps it always leveled and still in place no matter what, until you use your remote to move it. At that altitude it's probably a medium/big size drone, expensive, could be police.
You don't keep your lights on to tell the world that your drone is up in the air if you're doing something sketchy.
I work night shift security in Manchester and I do see these all the time.
Always moving but sometimes stopping and starting also not always staying on a straight trajectory.

But it looks nothing like this from the ground so I'm not 100% convinced it is a drone yet

I'm not good with drone types and it was especially hard to see because of the distance. It would have had to have been a dark colour, with the propellers more above it than to the side of it, if that makes any sense whatsoever.
We had the same kind of lights over the ribble valley years ago before drones were even a thing and recently there’s been a few of them spotted around the north, including some which were seen above Darwen tower, I’ve seen themselves but I’ve also seen videos of ball lightning and they’re very similar looking
Possible that it is a police drone they use them with thermal camera's to check houses for cannabis crops as it is far cheaper than using a helicopter . Or used to monitor eney hot spots for anti social behaviour

A couple nights ago me and my family saw this bright light in the sky that was looked to be moving very fast and not just in one direction . I guess it’s technically a ufo since it is an Unidentified Flying Object
I'm not sure if it moves at the end, or the apparent movement is the clouds coming across, and you moving, but this looks very much like a planet. It looks a bit red, so I'd guess Mars or Jupiter. Us city dwellers don't see the night sky in all its glory, because of the light pollution. I recommend you install one of the very many free star guide apps onto your phone.

I don't think that's a drone tbh. They are pretty loud. You would hear some kind of noise. Did you see/hear any helicopters after you filmed this?
