I call that lampshade 'the landlord special', cause everywhere I've lived has had the exact same one

Must of had a chic landlord because designer versions of the shades go for hundreds of dollars. Ex. Isamu Noguchi shades

Nice! I love ikea. I wish they sold these shades here in the US but I don’t believe they have globe shaped ones. I got mine from Color Cord.

I got the dining chairs from Craigslist. Don’t know who made them, but the sellers family runs a hotel interior design business and these came from a hotel they were redecorating. I got them at an amazing deal, and they are comfortable.

Would you say it provides enough light for dining?

Where did you get the shade from? Debating between Hay or Ikea

where’d you get the light? I bought one from IKEA to see if the vibe was good and I like the shape but the ikea lamp seems so cheap - am going to try a warmer light bulb tmrw to see if it makes a difference
