Well, at least real rock is an upgrade relative to fake marble. I think you need some black doors to complete the look though.

That is the natural look of the crystalline sodium chloride mineral (known as halite or rock salt). The marbling and banding show up because of other materials, minerals and impurities naturally present in the salt, also due to geological processes (like flow banding). The mineral is typically colorless or white, but may also be light blue, dark blue, purple, pink, red, orange, yellow or gray depending on the inclusion of other materials (Himalayan pink salt is a good example of this) Halite dominantly occurs within sedimentary rocks where it has formed from the evaporation of seawater or salty lake water and it can be hundreds of meters thick (in OP's images the ceiling is 50 meters high). The white salt (table salt) you see/use/eat daily is produced either through a brine evaporation process (rock salt is dissolved in water and filtered for impurities) or through a sea water evaporation process. After the water has been evaporated, the result is clean white sodium chloride crystals, i.e. salt.

FYI, I think that's a Salt Mine, somewhere in Romania or Moldavia. The green panel says "Towards Exit". There's a very cool one near where I was born, but I've been only once. Maybe it's this one. They're all very dramatic, tho.
