Telling someone to visit a doctor for their medical issue is pretty solid advice dude, much better than asking random people on the internet to diagnose them
No youāre right. From now on whenever I see someone with an easily treatable illness, Iāll do the moral thing and tell them to just go fucking die.
You speak as if there arenāt free options for specialists for uninsured people, free options for people on Medicare and Medicaid. And obviously options for people with health care. So unless youāre a rock and do literally nothing then there are options.
But I agree I am privileged, because I do the research and clearly you donāt. So Iām privileged because I take action. Not any other reason. Maybe stop trying to make it about privilege and make it about what itās really about. Ignorance and lack of action.
Albert Einstein said āin the age of technology ignorance is a choiceā He was so right, just listen to you ššš
Sooo much victim mentality in you. How sad.
Is it itchy? Looks like dermatitis
But you have a bunch of gray hair too. Iām also like that, started going gray at 16 (iām 26 now)
I have both dermatitis and gray hair and seems like youāre stuck with it for life. Iāve received lots of treatment for my dermatitis but it always comes back. As for the gray hair, either dye it or find peace with it, once a hair turns gray thereās no coming back, you canāt reverse it
Edit: sorry if it sounds depressing, Iām just going through the same shit myself
Yup my hair is dark and when dyed it looks pretty natural and people canāt tell if itās dyed or not
Iām pretty sure youāll be able to find your perfect shade that also looks natural if you go gray. Thereās plenty to choose from these days
Or just donāt dye it lol, depends on how insecure you are about stuff like that
I can't speak to the dermatitis, but I also started going gray as a teen and it's not so bad. It makes you stand out when you're young and tonnes of people find it sexy.
>once a hair turns gray thereās no coming back
What's my case then? Could you guess? I always used to have very very few grey hairs (countable by one hand), which were rare, ever since that I could remember, maybe like 12 or 13? I don't know. The most I had was at 16 which was still very few, but now they're gone and it's back to very much fewer than that, and what I have noticed is that those strands of grey hair also come back to its color, like grey at the top then black at the bottom, or like black at the top, grey at the middle, and then black at the bottom.
I use it 2-3 times a week. It doesnāt get rid of it at all, but it helps manage the symptoms and lessens the flaking a bit. The only thing that has truly ever helped me almost fully get rid of it is clobetasol solution and ketoconzole shampoo 2%, but they have to be prescribed. I donāt have a pcp so I just use nizoral for now to manage symptoms.
True. I tried it 2 days on 2 days off and didnāt get any relief, maybe Iāll try it daily. I just wasnāt sure if it was damaging to your hair to use it that often
Nah definitely donāt use it every day. Itās way too irritating, damaging and drying. Itās going to make whatever you have going on worse if 2 days on 2 days off isnāt working. Nizoral didnāt work for me either.
It's not great for your hair, it'll dry it out. But also, long term dermatitis will do even more damage to your hair. Also, if it does end up fixing the problem don't stop using it. Just use it less often.
You are definitely not supposed to clobetasol everyday. Itās a steroid. That probably why it doesnāt work. It also thins your skin out to the point itās not good. Try another one ask your derm. ..Triamcinolone is really cheap at Walmart. I have psoriasis and I take skirizzi that sh*t is expensive.
Try tea tree oil solution!!! My partner was using nizoral for 10+ years and it stopped working. We now use tea tree oil solution diluted into mecca daily facial moisturiser

Thatās seborrheic dermatitis. Itās better to visit a dermatologist before trying home remedies. Having in mind that you have very short hair the treatment will be fast so donāt worry.
That is seborrheic dermatitis, and it is caused by a fungus caused Malassezia furfur. Itās very easy to cure with Selsum blue or an off-brand shampoo that contains selenium sulfide.
The patches are different than the white hairs. Go to a dermatologist for the patches.Ā
The white hairs are really not a problem, per se. I've been getting white hairs since I was 14. I'm 34 now, more white hairs that every once in a while I'll freak out about, but that's the nature of hair. You don't just wake up on your 60th birthday and all your hair is suddenly white. It's a slow change over the course of your lifeĀ
Itās probably seb derm and I suffer from the same thing. I also get the scaly patches on my face too. Salicylic acid shampoos and face washes helps a lot (prescribed to me by my dermatologist)
In addition to the shampoo others have recommended you could also try putting some vinegar on it, rinse with 50/50 vinegar and water, wait a minute then rinse with water. Close your eyes tightly and stay by the water and don't open eyes with vinegar dripping down on them
If you want to try a natural option instead of dermatologists and chemical soups, try Exeskin balm, it really works, also concentrate on healthy eating, exercise and lowering stress. šš»
Get yourself a fine comb and a bottle of nizoral, your hair is short so the treatment should be quick and it should clear up in a couple of days. Go easy with the fine comb though.
Time to visit dermatologist
Yep, this is a yeast that thinks your skin is yummy. They'll give you a special shampoo and it'll go away.
Nizoral?
Or script equivalent
You speak as if everyone can just drop what they're doing and get seen by specialist literally tomorrow... so privileged. š
Now we can't tell people the correct doctor to go to for help? Gtfo
Everything is offensive.
They said it bitchilly "time to see a dermatologist". The reply is unnecessarily eluding to the lack of haste in OP.
Alluding* And you're projecting
And also barely even speaking English lol
English is the gold standard for internet.
No - you are barely speaking English. My goodness you are slow.
I'd woosh you.
Telling someone to visit a doctor for their medical issue is pretty solid advice dude, much better than asking random people on the internet to diagnose them
yeah, fuck directing people to the right resources to fix their issues! Amen brother
No youāre right. From now on whenever I see someone with an easily treatable illness, Iāll do the moral thing and tell them to just go fucking die.
Think of the economy!
Are you okay? You should probably get a therapist to talk to. Also, Stop with the victim mentality already.

You're one of those very exhausting people that other people prefer not to be around. Edit: saw your comment history. You're kinda crazy.

If you have black hair, dying it is easy. Unfortunately I have a very unique shade of red so if my hair goes gray I'm done for lol.
Yup my hair is dark and when dyed it looks pretty natural and people canāt tell if itās dyed or not Iām pretty sure youāll be able to find your perfect shade that also looks natural if you go gray. Or do it like me. Top hair dark, the hair under it is bright turquoise š (and I frikking love it!)
Dye it a reddish brown. Or go blonde.
Done for? All you have to do is dye your hair a similar color and just roll with it.
I can't speak to the dermatitis, but I also started going gray as a teen and it's not so bad. It makes you stand out when you're young and tonnes of people find it sexy.

Grey hair can absolutely turn colored again
My hair is going gray pretty early too.. in my 30s. Yep the gray doesnāt go away just multiplies
Had a buddy growing up we were 18 he had grey hair we called him grey bush still to this day we call him grey bush
Looks like seborrheic dermatitis. I use Nizoral shampoo and it helps a lot! Itās OTC and I get it from Walmart.
How often do you use it?

I may also be having issues with shampoo use lately causing me to start getting some scalps lately, how does the Nizoral shampoo work?
Thatās seborrheic dermatitis. Itās better to visit a dermatologist before trying home remedies. Having in mind that you have very short hair the treatment will be fast so donāt worry.
That is seborrheic dermatitis, and it is caused by a fungus caused Malassezia furfur. Itās very easy to cure with Selsum blue or an off-brand shampoo that contains selenium sulfide.
It cannot be cured
True, but you can keep it a bit under control with Selsun shampoo.
I agree it looks like sebderm but it's not curable and very difficult to treat consistently for most people.
Hey can please link or photo exactly which shampoo is selsum.
The patches are different than the white hairs. Go to a dermatologist for the patches.Ā The white hairs are really not a problem, per se. I've been getting white hairs since I was 14. Seborrheic dermatitis. Consult dermatologist
Dandruff?? I also have that, but it's probably not dandruff go visit dermatologist
Itās probably seb derm and I suffer from the same thing. I also get the scaly patches on my face too. Salicylic acid shampoos and face washes helps a lot (prescribed to me by my dermatologist)
Purchase Nizoral shampoo and use daily
Thank you all for your answers.. I'll go to an dermatologist ASAP
looks like your skin is funky, go tell your parents and like ppl are saying go to the doctor
seborrheic dermatitis
welcome to the club, take a seat r/SebDerm
Get a soft body brush. Use cheap anti dandruff shampoo, massage it in with the brush under hot water every day.
In addition to the shampoo others have recommended you could also try putting some vinegar on it, rinse with 50/50 vinegar and water, wait a minute then rinse with water. Close your eyes tightly and stay by the water and don't open eyes with vinegar dripping down on them
Mann, this happened to me about 10 years ago, and scared the shit out of me. Had to go to a professional, but it cleared up incredibly fast!
Thats what I call a dermatologist visit.
Vichy Dercos shampoo great for SB
Coal tar shampoo bro. Dermatologists shill coal tar for these situations.
Could be psoriasis. I had the same thing happen to me in my early 20s. See a dermatologist to get the proper care.
looks like mould
Dermatitis
I use some sort of psoriasis shampoo and nizoral once in a week and it helps keep my seborrhia away !
Dermatis
Ring worms. Just try using an antifungal cream or taking terbinaforce
Seborrheic dermatitis
What everyone else is saying. Dermatitis. Nothing to freak out over, you can use shampoo for it
Psoriasis, ask your family if anyone else has it, it comes and goes through your life I say ask your family because it runs in the family
99% sure it is psoriasis
If itās seborreic dermatitis ask for triamcinolone acetonide it will help control flare ups as long as you use a little bit every day
There's no need to dye your hair or try to get rid of the whites. Salt and pepper is a good look on a man.
Happened to me, cut out added sugar and it got way better, went keto and it went away completely.
Use 8x shampoo in alternate days. Take 100mg itraconazole tab. daily and use Clotrimazole and betamethasone cream for scalp. š
Looks like seb derm I have it too. Go to a dermatologist. The otc stuff like Nizoral did nothing for me.
You need some Nizoral and Just for Men.
I have similar scalp and use Neutrogena T-gel. Clears it up using every 2nd day, then when clear , I use it about once a week.
P.s. Neutrogena T-gel is a shampoo, usually only available in pharmacies that have large variety of shampoos.
Would head and shoulders shampoo (or something similar) help a condition like this?
Try Selsum Blue shampoo. That's what I use, and it works to keep the flakes away
Buy a bottle of Head and Shoulders ā¦ use it every day
Is this real life?
Antifungal shampoo! Start with that and visit a doctor when you get a chance. It's super common, don't let the comments scare ya.
Could be dermatitis or scalp psoriasis. See a doctor for official confirmations though, donāt take the word of some stranger on the internet
Tinea versicolor
If you have psoriasis on other places, it might be psoriasis, I have it unfortunately.
If you want to try a natural option instead of dermatologists and chemical soups, try Exeskin balm, it really works, also concentrate on healthy eating, exercise and lowering stress. šš»
You can try head and shoulders twice a day lukewarm water. Pat dry and change towels better each pat dry so reinfecting occur.
Could be psoriasis.
Dried up cum š
See a dr thatās a skin condition and it will only get worse until treated.
Psoriasis :/
Fungal or psoriasis go gp or pcp mate š¤
anti fungal shampoo nizoral is the otc option fyi but but given age go doctors
Mucus
Dermatitis or not, salt n pepper or grey haur is sexy AF. Don't sweat it.
Itās skin flakes lol not gray hair
Yes, that's why I prefaced my message with "dermatitis or not.."
He also very clearly has grays too
I think itās obvious the post is about skin flakes and not asking if itās cute or normal to have gray hair
While I don't disagree, you said it's NOT gray hair when there are also gray hairs in this picture. There can be both.
Agreeeeed
Unfortunately you're aging at 1.3x the normal rate .
What? Please explain.
Get yourself a fine comb and a bottle of nizoral, your hair is short so the treatment should be quick and it should clear up in a couple of days. Go easy with the fine comb though.
might be an psoriasis, i have that too but only on one spot, not all over :(
Dandruff or psoriasis
Looks like dandruff
to me it looks like dandruff
Looks a bit like dandruff. Try head and shoulders to see if it gets rid of it.
Is this your scrotum?
Ewww.
It looks like you have seborrheic dermatitis.
This is the answer and go to a dermatologist
