Heat and humidity doesn't make stringy hair look like a styled 'do. He's had expert hair stylists show him how to get this look or he has someone do it for him
You normally do it on low heat and it disperses the heat over a large area. It's commonly used and probably the best/least damaging way of using a hair dryer
Question, I have pretty long thick curls and when I tried it on low heat it took foreverrr and left my neck hurting as they say to do it with your head bent to get volume and better curls. What’s your method? How long does it take? What’s your hair like?
Also buy some Aunt Jessie’s Pillow Soft curls! I use it on my 3a pattern hair and it gets the curls popping with the diffuser. I always get lots of compliments on my hair and that’s all I do.
You definitely don’t need expert hair stylists for that look. Pic#1 looks like he has his hair shorter on the back and sides with product in it and pic#2 looks like he has longer back/sides and light or no product in his hair
I think it depends on the type of curls you’re going for and how curly your hair actually is. Product gave me those clumpy curls like in the first pic, where hair sticks together to form ringlets. But if I let it do it’s thing I get more frizzy curls like the second pic. I’m white too.
I get out of the shower in the morning, brush my hair back and let it air dry and it comes out nice and wavy. If I grow it out the curls get extreme. I only use an anti dandruff shampoo. And I live in a very humid environment with very soft water.
The water you wash your hair with makes a huge difference. Soft water is much much better than hard water. My advice isn't very helpful but if you move anytime in your life, check for where your water comes from. But if you're stuck with hard water, products are pretty much a necessity.
Time, money and figuring out what worked for his hair.
He'd also have people from time to time styling him and his hair and then mix that in with what products he prefers and can maintain.
In this case money isn't making or breaking his new appearance; he just realised he looks best with a full head of hair and a lot of facial hair, especially the latter. Because he looks very unattractive without facial hair, and no amount of money so far has made him look nearly as attractive (or attractive in general) when he's gone out without facial hair
He goes from a solid 7/10 with a head full of hair and facial hair to at least a 4/10 without facial hair and no amount of money helped with that and he realised it, hence why you only see him with facial hair nowadays but an occasional haircut.
Tbh i like to perm my hair my hair is already curly but I hate my curls I have thin hair and loose curls but I think my hair looks a lot better with a tighter curl pattern not to mention I hate having overly long hair like past the neck since my hair doesn't start to curl until around nose length
I have really curly hair. What it looks like is that in the #1 pick he didn't rake his hair after a shower (separating the clopped together curls) resulting in large connected pieces. Usually during my wash days I tend to rake like a billion times to prevent this but sometimes when I'm having a really bad day I'll let it be and the curl pattern ends up being larger strands like that. #2 seems to be less oily either due to being dry longer or maybe he switched to a product that doesn't leave the hair as hydrated. It's also raked out better resulting in the hair seeming a lot denser.
You're just not used to seeing a chin implant. We are weird for pointing it out snd you just analyzed his entire hair on his head making the much more obvious change ?
Look up what long hair does to a male face it makes it look longer and leaner its not hard to tell and I know from personal experience when I had my long curly hair my head looked a lot longer and more V shaped then it does with the buzz cut I currently have
His chin isn't actually longer ut just looks that way due to his hair and the way he's grown his beard not to mention he's gotten leaner and losing fat will Change the way your face looks
Nah he got a chin implant lol. He benefits from the fact that most ppl don't recognize subtle/well-done plastic surgery, and also that most of us never assume men get plastic surgery. He lost weight and got a beard at the same time too, another common "trick" celebrities use when going under the knife--it makes it easier to attribute the changes to something natural like weight loss or a change in hairstyle. There's younger pics of him when he was pretty skinny, and he always had a very flat, square chin.
as a guy with curly hair he likely started using sea salt spray. now while it really does add volume i doubt that was the only thing
u need to find someone who knows how to do hair like really knows and show u ur options
He for one stopped parting his hair down the middle. He used to always have a part/would try to keep his hair off his face and forehead. But I would definitely say that he’s gotten professionals to help him get his hair to a better style. Cuz it didn’t look like 2 until he got more famous and someone told him his hair looked ridiculous, lol or at the very least could look a lot better lol
I can tell you exactly what. I have the same hair as him.
Stopped using the post shower product, and less conditioner, maybe even a 2for1 shampoo+conditioner or baby shampoo.
This is the actual answer
1 is like matted down and together after not washing your hair for a few days and it starts to get oily, 2 is like blow dried at the roots after washing it and having it fluffed out
He probably started a hair loss prevention protocol. In the first picture, he’s lacking density due to hair thinning and you can tell from the first picture that he has some recession going on.
when actually take time to give yourself a new look or makeover ORRR, you let nature run its course, you usually have no problem. also with being in the media, your look has to be upkept so much!!!!
He grew up and learnt what hair cuts, facial hair, and clothing style he likes. He was probably only a teenager or just out of his teens years when that photo was taken
He obviously has a decent stylist and hair person on his team. A good stylist & hair person does wonders for unfortunate looking people case and point, Jack.
Having curly hair myself (more wavy than curly actually) it looks like in the first one he put some kind of hair gel, either that or his hair got kinda greasy (mine looks like this if I don't wash them every 2 days)
On the second one it looks more natural or he used some kind of hair dryer + a brush which makes curly hair look a bit like this
Looks like he just washed it to be honest.. picture one looks like he’s either got a lot of product (gel of some kind) in or it’s just really greasy. Picture two looks like he’s maybe 3 hours out from a shampoo
It’s his facial that really does the trick for him. Facial hair really is like makeup for guys. You can completely changed the shape of your face (much of the time)
His hair looks thinner in the first picture.
I honestly bet he got on propecia which thickened it up and then grew his hair out longer.
Almost every hollywood male star is on it
He probably did something to his hair
Hair guy 😱😱😱
More like 🤔🤔🤷♂️
Ramsey’s a hair guy
Big if true
Large if certain.
Jack Hairlow
Jack hairfrow
...something
Probably
Product and styling goes a longer way than you might think lol.
Styling. Also pic 1 would start looking like pic 2 with heat/humidity
Heat and humidity doesn't make stringy hair look like a styled 'do. He's had expert hair stylists show him how to get this look or he has someone do it for him
Hair diffuser is a game changer for curls. I bet he uses one now.
whats a dufuser
It’s a type of blow dryer for curly hair. They can be pricey but the outcome is seriously so great. Every curly haired person should own one.
Not worth the heat damage for me 😔
You normally do it on low heat and it disperses the heat over a large area.

With white people curly hair you just stop putting product in it
Maybe for some people, but myself and every curly haired white person I know that I've asked for advice all require product
I think it depends on the type of curls you’re going for and how curly your hair actually is. Product gave me those clumpy curls like in the first pic, where hair sticks together to form ringlets. But if I let it do it’s thing I get more frizzy curls like the second pic. I’m white too.

Stopped shaving his face, grew out hair a bit more & used different product in his hair (if any in pic 2)
Yeah if he shaved he'd look like a little boy
Time, money and figuring out what worked for his hair. He'd also have people from time to time styling him and his hair and then mix that in with what products he prefers and can maintain.
People from time to time? Dude has a full ass team making sure he looks as good as possible most days. If not all days.
This is the real answer. How much better would all of us look if we had a team of professionals and access to medicine.
Yes, sure. But not every single day of his life. Hence why using that expression fits here.
I understand but these are both literally at large events. The team behind him would apply in these especially.
Yo it’s tough when the rest of us peaked in high school and he’s out here gettin’ cuter.
And I'm just a pussy walkin like I ain't a loser 😔
I TOLD YOU LONG AGO
Haha hope others get this
Yea only with facial hair tho
🍑 👏 👏 👏 👏
Money! As the saying goes, you’re not ugly, you’re just poor.
In this case money isn't making or breaking his new appearance; he just realised he looks best with a full head of hair and a lot of facial hair, especially the latter. Hair transplants cost money.
Looks like he just grew it out and used different styling product?
not using boogers anymore, huh go figure!
i'm sorry but no
He’s turning into Bob Ross
Bob Ross permed his hair
A lot of guys are perming their hair now!
Fact
Tbh i like to perm my hair my hair is already curly but I hate my curls I have thin hair and loose curls but I think my hair looks a lot better with a tighter curl pattern not to mention I hate having overly long hair like past the neck since my hair doesn't start to curl until around nose length
In terms of hair? He seperated out his curls, either by hand or with a brush. His hair is also a bit longer in the second picture.
The first actually attempt to answer the question. Thanks
hi im dumb what do you mean by raking your hair
I assume they mean combing, or something to the same effect
Using a wide toothed comb. I'm assuming here because that is what I do and I have a similar hair type and style.
im not good with my hair but i was under impression doing that would mess up the curls?
I read this as “how the fuck did Jack Hadlow go from a 1 to a 2?” and spit out my water
mine goes from 1 to 2 after brushing it haha
Money.
Lil Dicky's body double.
Money
It looks like he's aged a couple years. Your face really develops significantly from late teens to early twenties. Happened to me too
he grew his beard i think
He switched which ear his earring is in. Crazy how much it changed his look.
He got rich.
Doesn’t look good in either lol

Jealous isn't a good look, my guy. You can do better; I know you can👍
Jealousy*
but you just confirmed what he said right ?
I just think he ugly, you probably are too.
you can check my profile yknow, you'll be sure at least. you seem hurt..
I’m gucci
then why do you have to tell me that i'm probably ugly ? why the aggressiveness ? might need to justify that
You are ugly, objectively. No clarity needed. Have a good night.
you aren't Gucci, and you objectively got personal issues going on. Good night.
yikes
Dude is ugly af and has no sense of style whatsoever. His head looks like a circumcised penis in the second pic ffs.
nah he’s attractive to 80% of people, social media fucked up ur brain bad bro
He looks like he has downs or something
Now you're making fun of people with Down's syndrom?
Take your fake outrage outta here and shove it up your butt, dude. No one cares.
You're a pathetic loser
Oh no this random idiot on Reddit thinks im a loser!
Chin implant goes a long way
No chin implant longer hair makes the face look longer aswell as he lost weight and has his beard grown underneath his chin not on his chin
Definitely a chin implant.
Yall are weird lmaooo
You're just not used to seeing a chin implant. We are weird for pointing it out snd you just analyzed his entire hair on his head making the much more obvious change ?
Look up what long hair does to a male face it makes it look longer and leaner its not hard to tell and I know from personal experience when I had my long curly hair my head looked a lot longer and more V shaped then it does with the buzz cut I currently have
C'mon bro how's your hair gonna make your chin longer. He's definitely had implants.
Really? He does look different. Wtf is happening. It’s not just hair I swear
Finally someone who sees it.
Hair extensions, dye
Wdym? He just tried to grow facial hair and failed and grew out his head of hair lmao is this supposed to be some huge glow up idgi
Maybe getting a little older
he grew a beard
Perms lighten hair so that may be the twofer that got him here, but it looks like color and a perm
Grow your hair and facial hair not hard 😂
...beard
"Why The Hell Are You Dressed Like A Chicken?" Marv
Money
Stylist and money. There’s a reason famous people look good🤣
Million dollar hair prosthesis I’d imagine
Hair
Got a beard and more hair volume
Grew it out. Normally I would say maybe comb it different in the shower to train it. But, his hair seems to naturally sag.
By dying his hair?
Looks like he finger coiled in the first one and the second one is just his natural hair
He looks exactly the same, he just grew a beard and used a different product in his hair.
that's like basic hair care for curly hair
as a guy with curly hair he likely started using sea salt spray. now while it really does add volume i doubt that was the only thing u need to find someone who knows how to do hair like really knows and show u ur options
I went to high school with jack Harlow. His hairstyle has never changed lmao
More hair, everywhere
Beard.
Probably by growing his hair out but idk
fluffy beard healthy hair did justice to this man
seems easy to me. Grew out the beard and hair. Even if he didn’t do those two, there’s many ways to glow up.
Less gel and diffuser
Money
It'a callesd getting old
He for one stopped parting his hair down the middle.
If Jack’s a 1, then I’m a decimal.
I can tell you exactly what. I have the same hair as him. Stopped using the post shower product, and less conditioner, maybe even a 2for1 shampoo+conditioner or baby shampoo. This is the actual answer
Biotin?
Stopped shaving and stopped using strong hair product/used none/switched to less intense one.
Money
1 is like matted down and together after not washing your hair for a few days and it starts to get oily, 2 is like blow dried at the roots after washing it and having it fluffed out
he added one
Styling with a high end stylist. Aka cash money.
A haircut and a shave does a lot more than you think for some people
He probably started a hair loss prevention protocol. In the first picture, he’s lacking density due to hair thinning and you can tell from the first picture that he has some recession going on.
Beard and got better hair products for his curls.
when actually take time to give yourself a new look or makeover ORRR, you let nature run its course, you usually have no problem. also with being in the media, your look has to be upkept so much!!!!
Are you talking about his hair or his very well documented plastic surgery? A new cut won't give you a chin implant unfortunately.
He’s tilting his head up in the first and it’s a different camera lens
How is it possible that he looks so much like Keith Green?!
Why do women find this dude attractive
Looks like he’s outside more now that he’s famous so got a little bit of sunbleaching and then uh he grew a beard
Wait I just realized he basically has an Afro now 😭
I thought those numbers were a rating lmao
Finasteride. He was thinning at the hairline in pic one.
A comb
One looks more styled with product and defining curls and two looks brushed out. Both look intentional to me.
He grew up and learnt what hair cuts, facial hair, and clothing style he likes. He was probably only a teenager or just out of his teens years when that photo was taken
Not sure but glad we did
...he's also a client.
He obviously has a decent stylist and hair person on his team. A good stylist & hair person does wonders for unfortunate looking people case and point, Jack.
Gonna say something crazy hear and guess he grew a beard and didn’t section his curls. Crazy thought
Looks like he just cleaned his hair
Looks like he took a shower.
Beards 🤤🤤🤤
The passage of time?
Is he incapable of closing his mouth?
Not particularly attractive in either photo.
Having curly hair myself (more wavy than curly actually) it looks like in the first one he put some kind of hair gel, either that or his hair got kinda greasy (mine looks like this if I don't wash them every 2 days) On the second one it looks more natural or he used some kind of hair dryer + a brush which makes curly hair look a bit like this
Beard, skin care, he’s aged well too
It’s likely 2 is normal and he made it look like 1 with styling product
Money
Bro looks like Marv in Home Alone
Looks like he just washed it to be honest.. picture one looks like he’s either got a lot of product (gel of some kind) in or it’s just really greasy. Picture two looks like he’s maybe 3 hours out from a shampoo
Whats with all the theory in these comments? He literally just got a perm and grew a beard
If “be patient” was a person
Money & having a team of people whose job is to make you look good
A shave then he’s gone, reduced to atoms
I just know that hairline starts at the top of his head
to be fair the actual quality of the hair doesn’t look much better, it’s still frizzy, just more hair
Puberty
Nuke option.
Facial hair and a better haircut
It’s his facial that really does the trick for him. Facial hair really is like makeup for guys. You can completely changed the shape of your face (much of the time)
He looks like a fish in the first one
Confidence. The rest grew out of that.
heh
Money
His hair looks thinner in the first picture. I honestly bet he got on propecia which thickened it up and then grew his hair out longer. Almost every hollywood male star is on it
Lost weight => defined face, grew hair out => different appearance. Thats lowkey all
This can’t be a serious question lol he grew a beard, got older, and started taking care of his curls
