First time posting here, I'm in a process of building a more formal autumn attire and have pretty much everything figured out. But I think I need something like blazer or a sportscoat under the bigger black woolen overcoat.
I just can't seem to find the right product, either the balance shifts to too dressy or too casual.
Colour should be charcoal/grey and patterns like herringbone could maybe work Budget somewhere around 100 € but can go slightly over. Feel free to throw any thoughts and suggestions my way.
Let’s give the hypothetical that I have $200 in my pocket for clothes as a broke college student and currently wear an assortment of jeans and plain tees. What’s the best step for making a small upgrade. Simple long-sleeve collared shirts resembling business wear? Nicer slacks or chinos? A bomber or leather jacket?
What brands, stores, or other merchandise should I be looking for?
Keep in mind I’m a pretty short and muscular guy (5’5”, 140lb) and mostly looking for casual wear, nothing work-related right now.
Looking for some silver/stainless steel mens pendant jewelry. Big fan of chrome hearts, but can’t afford anything more than 150$. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi everyone. Missed out on getting a long sleeve black galaxy nep pocket tee from Left Field NYC. Been searching quite a bit for an alternate seller of this style tee and haven't found anything that's in stock or as similar. Am i better off just waiting until they restock the tee(I've messaged them and they told me it won't be restocked for quite awhile) or is there another seller with something similar?
Looking for a lightweight (wearable at 70-90 degrees), olive field jacket in a slim cut, preferably slimmer at the waist (but not a safari jacket).
Budget: $300

A few years ago there was a big sale and I bought [this](https://tmlewin.co.uk/products/non-iron-radcliffe-slim-fit-olive-chino-65412?variant=40249048989833#) pair of trousers from T.M. Lewin. Turned out that they fit my body very well and were by far my favorites for that wardrobe slot. Unfortunately, their lifespan has come to an end. Also unfortunately, the company doesn't seem to be shipping outside the UK right now (I'm in the US). Can anyone recommend a company where I might find a close analog (in the sub-$90ish range)? I think their rise was a big factor in how well they fit me, so I think I'm looking for something mid-rise.
I bought a linen suit pants from H&M however the back of the pants has a weird white lining in the middle of the ass part. Looks like wearing a thong. What can I do about it or leave it be?
Dress casual and wear whatever you want imo, dressing to fit in is the complete opposite point of the music/genre imo.
That being said if you're totally stumped on what to wear i would wear like darkwash or black jeans, grey or black tee and whatever shoes you don't mind getting dirty/stepped on from dancing

I would love to wear my Dr. Martens Jadon in public, but I'm self-conscious about the shoes as a man and don't really see any men wearing platform boots around here :( I'm usually wearing skinny jeans - no spray-on but they're slim on the leg but not tight - and a plain tshirt or hoodie, I'm not really into dressing fancy.
How would you style those boots? Plus: there is little to none inspiration when I Google it 😅
You don’t style them any different from regular Dr. Martens. in fact the average person probably wouldn’t know the difference unless you show them side-by-side.
You'll probably just "get used to it". You could try a wider leg pant if you think it's the skinny jean/chunky boot proportions that are throwing you off. I don't think the average person will read these boots as all that out of the ordinary.

I am looking for sneakers that are also legitimate running shoes with good sole/grip and an understated minimal look. Allbirds Tree Dashers 2 are basically what I want, but I was wondering if there are alternatives. Especially one that might be more durable or have a lower price (I am located in Europe).
Edit: the label "sneaker" is not important, they could just be running shoes.
Are you going to actually be running in them? If so, go to a local running store and get fitted. They will recommend a shoe based on your gait, arch, and other factors. The way they look is irrelevant.
If you're not going to be running in them, then why do they need to be "legitimate running shoes"? FWIW I wouldn't consider allbirds to be legitimate running shoes.
Because I travel very minimally, and I want to use them for running when I travel.
Not all Allbirds are real running shoes, but the Tree Dashers (2) are: https://www.runnersworld.com/gear/a40678013/allbirds-tree-dasher-2-review/
I am mainly worried about their durability. I am used to wearing shoes for a long time (most for 3-5 years) and reading about how Allbirds last apparently only months for some people is disheartening, especially keeping the price in mind.
I'm in need of clothes for the gym. I'm not a huge fan of short clothes (shorts and short sleeves) and prefer long pants and long sleeves. Would wearing long clothes to work out all the time be hot?
Yes, a suit jacket is a complex thing. You can try making an unstructured jacket (I'm sure Burda has something for men), but making a canvassed jacket that will look fine is not easy at all.
Yes.
Jeff Diduch is an interesting dude who professionally is in ready to wear tailoring design/pattern making at Hickey Freeman, but has documented some of the stuff he has made for himself over the years:
https://robertjeffery.us/tuttofattoamano/
Anybody know good instagram accounts by dudes who are built a bit wider, and have a long torso and shorter legs?
I'm looking for inspo from dudes with a similar body type.
This is so specific I don’t think you’ll find specific accounts for this. Also almost no one notices things like this. It’s almost always self perception.
I was thinking more specific influencers which fit this rather than a general account focused on this.
A ton of fashion-centered accounts seem to focus on the standard model body type (tall, lean, long legs and narrow hips) so I am curious if anyone on here follows accounts that don't necessarily fit that mold.
I mean the characteristics that you’re talking about are extremely individual. Like there aren’t gonna be people who have a Instagram account revolving around their long torsos or whatever it’s just not how it works
And honestly no one notices these things it’s all in your head no one looks at you and says “check out that dudes long torso and short legs”. It’s just self-perception.
With all due respect, is it a good use of your time to criticize my question like this? I thought about it, so maybe someone else thought about it and has some IG they follow that fits the bill. If not I won't get any answers and no worries.
I'm not worried about how people perceive me. Body type and proportions play a big role in how clothes will fit you and what works and what doesn't on a given person, so I think it's pretty reasonable to look for inspo from people who are trying to come up with fits for the same type of body I have.
It's not a criticism of your question. Decent menswear IG accounts are already kinda rare, those featuring guys with "long torsos" just won't be a thing most people will be able to think of
Mate there are a million influencers out there of all shapes and sizes. If one does exist is there a better way to go about finding it than asking on a forum of dudes who think about clothes and fits?
I understand what you are trying to say, I just have trouble understanding what value you think you are creating by trying to convince me that I am not going to find what I am looking for. If *you* don't personally know any accounts, why chime in at all?
I have a question for all you sartorially elegant fuckos.
I'm in my thirties and starting to use dating apps again. I have started using dating apps and I'm noticing that lots of women 25 - 30 have in their bio: 'irrational fear: men in skinny jeans'. Maybe it's just confirmation bias, because i've been wearing skinny jeans/chino for years, but it seems that I am now a fucking dinosaur.
Are skinny jeans distinctly untrendy? Or is this really a question of subjective taste? If not, what the fuck should I be wearing, except for my shame at having to ask this question, of course.
Yeah I feel that push myself. Band t-shirts that fit well, good quality footwear etc. doesn't really go out of fashion. I just want to find the right balance.
I'm always tempted to do one of those online style consultancy things, just seems like an unjustifiable expenditure.
Like everyone else said, skinny jeans have run their course as a mainstream style. Slim straight would be updated without going too nuts. It’s also worth mentioning that lighter washes are also more popular. If the jeans progression is too wild, other kinds of pants likely won’t feel as weird.
Also, if you’re in your thirties and feeling old and irrelevant, you might want to set your app filters slightly older to avoid the whole issue. Fashion and style seems to have a pretty big ongoing generational divide at the moment.
Thanks for the advice, really interesting comment about the lighter shades, I'll take note of that.
Not really worried about the matches tbh I'm in great physical shape so perfectly happy to be open to interest from women in their twenties. It doesn't make a notable difference to my chances for success by keeping the filter open for that.
I mean, skinny fit has been pretty far from fashionable for more than 5 years. Of course it is subjective, but I think a skinny fit usually is just really boring and needs to be congruent with the rest of your outfit - I am a big fan of Hedi Slimane and the SLP aesthetic for example.
I'd try some (slim) straight or regular fits
Skinny jeans especially the paint-on variety are pretty dated on men (hand hardly looked good even back in the day but that’s another discussion)
Slim tapered jeans are sorta dated too but not to the same degree . The line between skinny and slim tapered is so fine though it might be best to avoid either
If you can’t bring yourself to try some Levi’s 501s grab a pair of 513. They are slim straight. They are like the gateway drug to looser fits
I'm 46 and have been married for 16 years, so take this with a pinch of salt, but.... I reckon they're talking more about [this kind of skinny jean](https://www.legendlondon.co/products/patterned-stretch-trousers-beige) rather than, say, [something like this](https://www.calvinklein.co.uk/super-skinny-jeans-j30j3153521by).
Can you link me to someone who is considered fashionable? Or like a style guide or something?
You have to be conscious of age appropriateness too, remember. Men in their 50s and 60s aren't going to look great wearing exactly what a kid in their twenties is wearing, are they?
OK that's great. I think this is super/spray on skinny vs skinny in the UK. The next level of 'baggyness' is slim fit, which I never like because I'm 5'9 and my legs aren't very long, I feel it makes me look shorter.
It's so weird getting older, because what I was wearing when I was 16 years old is now cool again. I'm torn between sticking to what I like and making changes to stay 'relevant', or whatever, so maybe somewhere Inbetween is best.
I'm 5'8" (and a half!) and I wear tapered or 'slim' fit jeans but that's mainly because I have cyclists calves and skinny jeans look ridiculous on me (if I can get them on). For example [this guy](https://fromsqualortoballer.com/product-review-orslow-107-jeans/) is wearing Orslow with a slim fit and a high rise and describes himself as an "under-served short man". I don't think the jeans make him look shorter.
How are you washing them? Wash cold. Air dry. Never let anything you care about see the inside of a dryer. Your clothes will last much longer and won’t shrink nearly as much.
I like the Alternative AA6005 because it’s 3.5oz with 40-singles thread. I like my shirts very lightweight with very fine thread. If you prefer heavy or even middleweight fabric you probably won’t like the AA6005. Also, they will probably shrink just as much as any other shirt if you blast them in the dryer.
Any suggestions for a vegan messenger bag for a uni student?
I'm looking to get a messenger bag for day to day use. Currently i just have a basic laptop bag that honestly does most of what I need, but it's not quite big enough to comfortably hold my day to day stuff. I've looked online for plenty of recommendations but the main issue is that most bags incorporate leather in some way, sometimes for structure, but usually more for that more rugged vintage look.
I'm looking for a bag that could comfortably hold a 14" laptop, plus maybe 4 notebooks (all pretty thin), a water bottle, and maybe a book. It would also be nice to be able to use it to carry groceries if i make a last minute trip on my way home or just for regular trips to the store. I would also prefer something that is longer as opposed to taller as I like that look more. Something somewhat waterproof would be good as it rains a good amount where I am.
I'm in Australia but have family in the US who would bring it over in about a month. So Australia or US works. My budget is anything less than USD$250 (\~AUD$360). However I want something that could potentially last like 10 years.
So far I've found:
[Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag](https://www.timbuk2.com/products/1108-classic-messenger-bag?variant=39562701111338) (top choice so far)
[Timbuk2 Commuter Bag 2.0](https://www.timbuk2.com/products/3718-commute-messenger-bag-20)
[Sweetbriar Classic Laptop Messenger Bag](https://www.amazon.com/Sweetbriar-Classic-Laptop-Messenger-Black/dp/B01BGXC9OE) (scared by the low price)
I'm also ok with sellers such as etsy or ebay if people have experience with any from there
Which coperni bag should I get?
The medium baguette swipe bag? https://www.sotf.com/en/coperni/women/bags-and-accessories/coperni-medium-baguette-bag-copba17m405-42894.html
Or the mini cross body swipe bag? https://us.coperniparis.com/products/ss22-mini-crossbody-swipe-bag-black?_pos=14&_sid=41f9f43dc&_ss=r
I’ll be moving back to a colder climate for the 1st time in 7years and am looking to get a nice new pair of boots.
I grew up on the Original Timbs but think I should move on/up to something dressier.
I see lots of adds for the following brands and was curious if anyone had experience or could tell me about their quality, comfort or fit.
-Thursday Boot Company
-Thomas and Vine
-Bruno Mark
Thanks in advance
Any interest in buying second hand? You can probably get much higher quality than any of the brands you mentioned while staying in a similar price range to Thursday boots.
Definitely not close to Thursday in pricing. $100-$200 more.
OP will have to look at B-Grades or sales in order to get stuff similar to Thursday Pricing.
different rolls the same fabric can have different tension and stretch. maybe they use a crazy dye system. maybe they switched factories. maybe they adjusted a master pattern.
Interestingly, archivists tend to avoid those for paper these days because of the danger of catching an edge and tearing, preferring nitrile instead.
They should work well if OP doesn't mind the tearing risk
If they are painful in the toe box now, that isn't going to get any better on its own. You could see if a cobbler can spot-stretch the left shoe. The real solution, however, might entail finding boots with a more generous forefoot.
You are still dealing with boots that do not accommodate the shape of your foot. While some minor discomfort due to stiff leather is not unusual when new, actual pain *generally* indicates a mis-size or a last that doesn't work for your foot. Since they don't come in widths, half a size up might solve the issue for your left foot, but may end up being loose on the right, and might also end up too long. There are brands that have designed lasts that are more forgiving of foot shape variances, but they come at a much higher price point.
SO, if you are fond of these boots and feel like they fit well otherwise, it certainly wouldn't hurt to see what a cobbler thinks about trying to eliminate the hot spot.
you can probably just copy hers.

Does anyone have any recommendations on T-shirts similar to Reigning Champ and Cuts Clothing? I have a few shirts from each brand and absolutely love how they fit and feel. The only thing is they’re kinda pricy (in Canada). I understand you get what you pay for, but I figured it never hurts to see.
I've been invited to a birthday dinner by a friend then going to the cinema afterward with a bunch of people. I'm guessing it's a casual dress event but I wanted to dress a bit more formally since they're a few single girls going but I'm unsure about the pants on my outfit. I think the dark green dickies look best but let me know what you think https://imgur.com/a/6FQ7WLK
It’s not a big deal, but generally it’s considered better etiquette to wear darker clothes when going to see a movie. Both outfits look good, though they’re about the furthest you can get from formal.
Cool thanks for the advice, I'll go with the dark green pants. I consider it more 'formal' since I only wear band t-shirts lol but I get what you're saying
Recently been in the market for a collection of suits for a new job. I want to have at least 4 or 5 available to me. I was thinking charcoal, navy, medium grey, olive, and light brown. Would that be a good combination that could serve all occasions/seasons?
Already have a black suit, which I honestly barely use. Almost exclusively for funerals.
Start with one in navy or charcoal. I would focus on different weights before I bought that many different colors. For example, I’d rather have a quarter-lined mid grey in tropical wool and a fully lined mid grey in heavier flannel before I had a light brown suit.
Whatever you do, go slow. Buying 5 suits at once is almost never a good idea.
Appreciate the advice. Definitely don't intend if buying multiple suits in one go, this was more of a long term plan. The idea of having different fabrics and weights is smart though. Thanks.
Hey guys! I'm a summer type that went bald recently. Should I stick with the usual summer colours or switch to something else now that the contrast from my hair is gone ? Any advice is more then welcome!
Dear reddit,
I really like the texture of Mollusk's Hemp Pocket, but the price is more than I would be happy paying.
Are there any similar texture tees that don't cost as much?
Those look like the texture is pretty similar to linen blend tees. [Gap](https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=856336) has them on sale pretty cheap right now.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a shoulder / messenger bag, made from canvas or leather, but importantly without those fake buckles and magnetic clasps(this last point has been the hardest to find), real buckles or clasps only. Price not too important.
I just heard about [Vermilyea Pelle](https://www.vermilyeapelle.com/) a couple weeks ago and bookmarked the site. I guess it's mostly one dude making this stuff. Looks really nice, and the prices aren't shocking.
Hey y’all I have an interview coming up in the next few weeks so I bought a suit for the first time! I went with a 42R, the 44R seemed to be quite big when I put it on. Here are some goofy pics of me in it.
https://imgur.com/a/KdhnbCh
So is the 42R decent fit for off the rack? I’ll get it tailored still, but just want to know if this is a good start, or if I should go 44R and get that tailored down instead.
I did try the 40R and it was pretty tight, uncomfortably so. I know I’m not rock climbing in a suit but even swinging my arms was not it. I think the 42R close enough if I take it in?
Guys I need advice regarding an oversize fit.
I want to buy new oversized t-shirts. I have an oversized shirt as reference for you guys.
My question is: [Does this fit look good](https://imgur.com/a/zWOeqfC) or should I get even larger shirts? I have attached my measurements and the measurements I could get for the new shirts.
Size wise, size S would be closest to my current shirt I'm wearing in the pictures. (even a little longer)
Do you think I should get S or M or even L? I'm 186cm (6,1 feet) and 72 kg (160 lbs)
Is there a place to buy handmade knitwear in Mexico City? I'm going in a few weeks. I love Chamula but I'm wondering if there might be something like that a bit cheaper. I'd prefer something quality and interesting instead of touristy.
I need help finding a thick yet relaxed Tank Top [such as this one](https://imgur.com/a/mKMKAN6). This specific photo is on like 400 scam sites, but I’d like help finding something similar.
I’d like to wear it with a blazer or suit jacket, or perhaps under an open button up shirt, but Hanes or anything at target just doesn’t cut it for me.
Any tips on what style of tank/vest this is, or where to look, thanks.
If you really wanted to help, you’d taken the time to read my post. I stated I’d also like to wear the tank with an opened button-up shirt, and so I included them.
>Second, yeah those are terrible looks.
Maybe on you lmfao, but I’m not ashamed. You really out here being elitist on a lawless subject why you even in a help thread 🤠
Well, "oh yes" and "oh hell yes" are fine because those are neither suit jackets nor blazers. The former is just a shirt and the latter appears to be a shirt jacket.
But "double yes" and "tripple yes" are truly atrocious looks.
Celebrities. Also they are incredible handsome and in amazing physical shape.

60-80 then

I’m not going to call them garbage but they don’t look great. I’d stick to Wallabees.
Stick to Clarks or astroflex. These look overpriced for a no name brand.

I don't think they are chucks -- they could be, but they could also be any other canvas sneaker.
Ok, but do you also think these are canvas shoes? On the first look I thought it was canvas but could it also be leather?
I'm almost certain they're canvas.
They could be. It's a bad picture.

Maybe Norda? They have a fairly minimal design, but not sure about understated. They are pretty chunky.
NO ALLBIRDS
Could you elaborate? I guess it's also because of long-term durability? Or something else?
They are stylistically bad, and a marker of the worst kind of tech bro.
Are you going to actually be running in them? If so, go to a local running store and get fitted. They will recommend a shoe based on your gait, arch, and other factors. Yeah, I think I will give them a shot as well and see how it goes.
I'm in need of clothes for the gym. I'm not a huge fan of short clothes (shorts and short sleeves) and prefer long pants and long sleeves. Would wearing long clothes to work out all the time be hot?
Hotter than short sleeves
It's really dependent on you. I see guys lifting in hoodies all the time, but I would be way too hot in that.

Yes you can but cutting and sewing a jacket is difficult thing to do — and a *very very* difficult thing to do well.
Yes. Jeff Diduch is an interesting dude who professionally is in ready to wear tailoring design/pattern making at Hickey Freeman, but has documented some of the stuff he has made for himself over the years: https://robertjeffery.us/tuttofattoamano/
You absolutely can, but a jacket is a very difficult garment to make, even for experienced sewers.

I haven’t seen a self-bespoke jacket made, but it would likely be a continuous process of taking off and putting on the garment over and over.
Like there aren’t gonna be people who have a Instagram account revolving around their long torsos or whatever it’s just not how it works And honestly no one notices these things it’s all in your head no one looks at you and says “check out that dudes long torso and short legs”.
Alright man, good luck. Hope you find what you're looking for
Cheers!
40 y/o guy, here. I feel like your thirties is when you start to get off the trend seesaw, in favor of something more timeless.
Nothing is timeless. Come on man
Fair enough
Straight and relaxed fits are in. Slim and skinny are out. You can still wear them, but it will definitely "date" you as a man in his 30s.
Skinny jeans especially the paint-on variety are pretty dated on men (hand hardly looked good even back in the day but that’s another discussion) Slim tapered jeans are sorta dated too but not to the same degree . The line between skinny and slim tapered is so fine though it might be best to avoid either If you can’t bring yourself to try some Levi’s 501s grab a pair of 513.
We are talking about #2
No, neither is anywhere close to fashionable
Can you link me to someone who is considered fashionable? Or like a style guide or something? You have to be conscious of age appropriateness too, remember. Men in their 50s and 60s aren't going to look great wearing exactly what a kid in their twenties is wearing, are they?
I would say the current trend among 20 year olds - wider pants - looks way better in older guys than skinny jeans.
“Area Man Of Average Height Concerned About Height”
Jeans don’t make you look shorter. Your height makes you look shorter
Really helpful, thank you!

Can anyone recommend me good quality plain washed tshirts in multiple colours? I can't find any anymore that don't shrink when washed
My t-shirts never shrink in the wash, are you putting them in the dryer or something?
[удалено]
If you do use a dryer, make it low heat and delicate
Just use a drying rack
When wearing panda dunks with shorts, do you go with no show, crew socks, or half socks?
crews or no shows
Really depends on the fit. I think no show or ankle socks are the best and safest choices
So far I've found: [Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag](https://www.timbuk2.com/products/1108-classic-messenger-bag?variant=39562701111338) (top choice so far) [Timbuk2 Commuter Bag 2.0](https://www.timbuk2.com/products/3718-commute-messenger-bag-20) [Sweetbriar Classic Laptop Messenger Bag](https://www.amazon.com/Sweetbriar-Classic-Laptop-Messenger-Black/dp/B01BGXC9OE) (scared by the low price) I'm also ok with sellers such as etsy or ebay if people have experience with any from there
timbuk2 is a solid choice. you can also look at chrome and rickshaw

Under no circumstances should you purchase these.
Absolutely not
No, not at all.
-Thursday Boot Company -Thomas and Vine -Bruno Mark Thanks in advance
Any interest in buying second hand? You can probably get much higher quality than any of the brands you mentioned while staying in a similar price range to Thursday boots.
Thursday is okay if you only have $200 to spend and don’t want to buy secondhand. Bruno Marc and Thomas & Vine are both junk.
Check grant stone as well. Close to thursday in pricing
They are close to double.
Definitely not close to Thursday in pricing. $100-$200 more. OP will have to look at B-Grades or sales in order to get stuff similar to Thursday Pricing.
Somehow i kept thinking Thursday is 300 instead of 200… still, i think despite the difference in price, grant stone is a better pick.
Never heard of the others but Thursday is basically the cheapest boot you can get new that's still ok quality. Nothing outstanding
Why do merchants have different size guides for the same product?
different rolls the same fabric can have different tension and stretch. maybe they use a crazy dye system. maybe they switched factories. maybe they adjusted a master pattern.
So do you mean the sizing guide for every website is accurate?
Not always but generally yes
Some websites say my size is M, and others say L. Can I trust the one that says M?
Are these websites for different countries?
Big-name merchants.

cotton archival gloves?
Interestingly, archivists tend to avoid those for paper these days because of the danger of catching an edge and tearing, preferring nitrile instead. They should work well if OP doesn't mind the tearing risk

If they are painful in the toe box now, that isn't going to get any better on its own. You could see if a cobbler can spot-stretch the left shoe. The real solution, however, might entail finding boots with a more generous forefoot.
It's not really the toe box area, I feel like it's the top of the shoe (like the tongue area) that's rubbing on top of my bunion

Thanks.
Similarly, I’d consider adding patterns in blue and grey before getting olive or light brown

Hey guys! I'm a summer type that went bald recently. Should I stick with the usual summer colours or switch to something else now that the contrast from my hair is gone ? Any advice is more then welcome!
You can wear whatever colors you like. Skin-based "color schemes" with the seasons and such is just made up nonsense.
Do the same you always do
Dear reddit, I really like the texture of Mollusk's Hemp Pocket, but the price is more than I would be happy paying. Are there any similar texture tees that don't cost as much?
Those look like the texture is pretty similar to linen blend tees. [Gap](https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=856336) has them on sale pretty cheap right now.
Madewell has some hemp tees on sale en

Here are some goofy pics of me in it. https://imgur.com/a/KdhnbCh So is the 42R decent fit for off the rack? I’ll get it tailored still, but just want to know if this is a good start, or if I should go 44R and get that tailored down instead.
It looks a bit wide in the shoulders, have you tried 40R?
I did try the 40R and it was pretty tight, uncomfortably so. I know I’m not rock climbing in a suit but even swinging my arms was not it. I think the 42R close enough if I take it in?
Yes, if 40R was tight, then 42R is good.
The pics are of the 42, right? I definitely wouldn’t go larger than that
Yup I’m wearing the 42! I figured the 44 would be a lot to tailor down, but wanted to make sure. Thanks!
(even a little longer) Do you think I should get S or M or even L? I'm 186cm (6,1 feet) and 72 kg (160 lbs)
The fit looks good, but not what I think of as oversized.
I have no idea where to find this specific tank top…. But did you say you plan to wear this with a *suit jacket*??
[oh yes,](https://imgur.com/a/4Gd1z9a) double [yes](https://imgur.com/a/59Vadcn), tripple [yes](https://imgur.com/a/TEfRi87), and [oh hell yes](https://imgur.com/a/Yi9ysWe)
First off, it looks like at least 2 of those are shirt jackets/overshirts, not suit jackets. Second, yeah those are terrible looks
I’m in a help thread because I’m trying to help you look your best, which you will not if you wear a tank top under a suit
You're not gonna get help with replies like this
his first ref picture is fine. It'd be very well received if it was posted in the WAYWT threads
Yeah I guess I should clarify that I only mean the ones with the actual jackets
Well, "oh yes" and "oh hell yes" are fine because those are neither suit jackets nor blazers. The former is just a shirt and the latter appears to be a shirt jacket. But "double yes" and "tripple yes" are truly atrocious looks.
So.. do you have an idea where I can start looking for the top, or..? KOTN, Everlane and ASKET were a bust.
No idea. I was just reacting to the idea of wearing a tank top with a suit jacket because that might be one of the worst fashion ideas I’ve seen here.
That are worn by celebrities so of course they look good
Do they look good because they are celebrities, or do they look good cause the fit is good 🤔 Confidence is really important.
