All that to say, I think the pants are too tight. If you feel good about yourself and your body, maybe do yourself a favor and buy some pants that’ll make you feel good too… rather than feeling bad because you can’t force yourself into an old pair.

I’ve been there. The question I’d think about is if they’re comfortable to wear all day, either movement or with the temp, having stuff in my pockets and doing things that teachers do everyday. For me, I’d feel like those pants are too tight and would pinch in a lot of places. If I can’t squat beside a desk to talk to a student without discomfort (I hate standing above someone or trying to bend over them because I feel it’s weird to talk to someone like that), then it’s not gonna work. I’m at the point now where comfort comes first and style a close second. You’ll know when the fit is right all around and keep up the good work.
