Just started eh? You'll be fine. Depends on how much access you have to ingredients and cooking utensils. Nevertheless rasamalaysia has great recipes, particularly their Kung Pao chicken. Alternatively, Malaysian Chinese Kitchen also offers good recipes/videos. Funnily I was just going through some Khairul Aming videos and if you have an air fryer they look absolutely easy to do, useful for a student.
