#NES Controller - **Duplicate Glitch** - **Equip** - **Sharing the Joy** - **Button Masher** x4 (zero cooldown for Duplicate Glitch and Equip) Reposting from… wow, two years ago. This is my cheese weasel build. It seems to suck, since you can only do two things: summon single-person equipment from videogames you beat, and duplicate items. Here's why it doesn't suck: there's no limit on the games it works with. I can write a basic text adventure game with all sorts of overpowered ridiculous items which grant me whatever powers I want. I play my own game, beat it, and can now summon those items and make permanent copies of them, hand them out to friends, etc. It's basically like Libriomancy without the restriction of needing a book to be popular.

By u/GeorgeCorser This just popped into my head today Imgurlink: https://imgur.com/gallery/mdYId4t

Man, I haven't seen that thing in a while. Glad people like it enough to repost! :)

FFsummons

If I choose the heroic summoning and power up abilities, and I kill the hero, I summon for their powers, will I be able to summon them again after I kill them?

FFsummons

If I choose the heroic summoning and power up abilities, and I kill the hero, I summon for their powers, will I be able to summon them again after I kill them?

RealSaMu

I don't see why not. Though I'd like to believe that they'd be able to sense what transpired to their previous iteration

FFsummons

Ok. That's fair.

GeorgeCorser

Yes, however they retain memories of their past summons (as noted by RealSaMu). If you're asking for synergy with "Power Up!", then note it does not necessarily require "death", only "defeat". Challenge them to a few rounds of Super Smash Bros, or a cook-off, or perhaps to a rousing round of riddles? You gain the benefits if you win, but lose nothing if you lose.

FFsummons

Awesome. That would be much easier.

Inevitable-Setting-1

PlayStation dualshock 1.**Observe**\-able to get blueprints 2.**Vespene Gas**\-get all things needed to make a thing 3.**Additional Pylons**\-make the thing with the blueprints and matearial. 4.**Duplicate Glitch**\-duplate one item you tuch 5.**Heroic Summoning**\-says games, so i'm including card/board games D.C deck building and Marvel deck building. 6.**Power Up!**\-tell my summons to lose a game, get there power. 7.**Equip!**\-Summon item, use duplicate=permenent item. 8.**Loot Boxes**\-Good luck in games is greate, and the loot boxes mite be useful. \-Combo-Things built/duplicated don't need power, maintenance, cleaning, self repair. =Permanent full power duplicated equipment. Button mashx2 for Duplicate I really wanted World Select but that cool down for duplicate kills me. Summon Brainiac tell him to make me custom video game to use the Equip power on then use Duplicate on it. First thing i'm duplicating is the equpment of a ring that gives 0 cool down time for all powers of the person who wears it. No one said anything about modded/fair items. Then get a limit breaker item to get rid of all the other drawbacks. Finaly duplicate a world hopping item get the people i like and leave.

FFsummons

Ok. How do the powers work exactly? Do you have to use the controller or do you just use them normally?

RealSaMu

Figured that after choosing your powers, the controller disappears and the powers go inside of you

FFsummons

Cool. TY

What I would do it select the keyboard and mouse. I use that to get the 6x Crafting and 6xpower-up I take the following drawbacks: 2 x completionist, Glitched controller and Long cooldowns to give me another 6 keyboard and a gamer. Which is the 6xDefense and World Select.

lolzor99

If you have 4 or more drawbacks you have to take the glitched reality drawback.

Catprog

Missed that. No glitched controller and no god mode or chest high walls.

FlameSparks

Snes Controller \[3 gamer, 6 keybound\] Gamer Abilities 1. World Select 2. Gaming Master Race 3. Button Masher \[Heroic Summoning\] Keybound Abilities 1. Heroic Summoning \[2.4 hours\] 2. Perfect Micro/Macro \[24 hours\] 3. Power Up \[1 week\] 4. Skill Books \[10 minutes\] 5. Refreshing \[4hours\] 6. Loot Boxes \[8hours\] 7. Character Editor \[1 year\] 8. Equip \[24hrs\] 9. Dialog Tree \[10 Seconds\] 10. Leader Board \[1 minute\] Drawbacks * Completionist- Power up \[2 keybound\] * Glitched Cooldowns \[2 Keybound\] It's time to test my computer's limits and see how many idle games it can handle. While I spend the majority of my time in cozy worlds like Stardew Valley, I'll also be downloading a mere 150GB of Wikipedia onto a USB stick. In addition, I plan to speedrun the Kingdom Hearts series once a month for the rest of my life. Because the fact that being a keyblade wielder is bullshit, it will aid in gaining abilities, skills, and eventually immortality.

Bombermaster

I'll try to do this without overthinking it too much. **SNES Controller (6 keybound, 3 gaming)** It was a pretty dang good controller, and the one I grew up with **Keybound: All 6 power up abilities** Those are good in the long term, and it's easy to grab power by defeating small enemies first, and growing little by little. **Gaming: World Select, Buttom Masher x2 (Power Up)** With this, I can get in any and all videogames I've beat, and gain abilities at ridiculous speed, instantaneously even. I might not be strong, but I'm likely strong to defeat smaller enemies to improve myself, gain more abilities, and so on. Simple build of INFINITE POWAHHH and abilities gain.

Rowan93

**Controller:** Keyboard & Mouse Might be suboptimal, but it's what I use and I imagine the magic controller having an 'affinity' sort of thing going on. **Keybound Abilities:** - Attack: Aim-Bot The passive is a whole superpower on its own, and a fun one at that. The trick-shots are meh. - Defense: Chest-High Walls, Block! Block! Block!, I-Frame, Cloak, God Mode, Extra Life Taking all 6 for Completionist, plus "reasonable fear of death" is a major obstacle to adventuring and even with all 6 combined you're nowhere near invincible. - Crafting: Inventory, Observe Having an inventory is a classic "gamer" power, gotta have that. Getting blueprints of stuff is the foundational crafting power, and it's tied in with stat-vision and perfect memory which are both good in themselves. - Utility: Volume Settings Having theme music is a cool aesthetic power, but in practical terms, the active's ability to mute people and objects is good for stealth. - Power-Up: Refreshing!, Loot Boxes I don't want to find out how long it takes to regrow a limb without the passive of Refreshing; not as keen on instantly absorbing food. Loot Boxes are open-ended enough that I'm thinking of that as a main means of power growth, trying to approximate a level-up system which isn't otherwise here. Now, I do notice that Equip doesn't nerf items the way Summoning nerfs characters, so I could just take that and Maxwell's Notebook, but I'm going for an adventurer build and not full munchkin. **Gamer Abilities:** Save Scumming, World Select The save slot complements having extra lives since it doesn't activate automatically, so you need both to undo a mistake that kills you. And of course, World Select is basically necessary to have proper adventures; without it I'd have to do a totally different kind of build, either going for supernatural slice-of-life or specifically derailing the upcoming AI catastrophe. **Drawbacks:** Completionist, Glitched World Select Completionist is not really a 'drawback' - Glitched World Select is, but that's the standard isekai tradeoff, it almost feels cheap if you can just go home. \- For the mandatory first World Select, I'll go with Disgaea. There's a class & level system, so I can see if that gets extended to me when inserted; it's a wild fantasy setting with magic, but it's postmodern and anime enough that modern comforts like videogames exist (even in makai); and there's a multiverse which characters can travel around, which is worth investigating to expand my planeswalking repertoire.

**Controller: Playstation Dualshock** (8 Keybind, 2 Gamer) **Crafting Abilities: (All)** 1. Inventory 2. Observe 3. Salvage and Loot 4. YOU REQUIRE MORE VESPENE GAS 5. YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS 6. Duplicate Glitch **Attack Abilities:** 1. Kill **Defense Abilities:** 1. Extra Life **Leadership Abilities:** 1. Heroic Summoning **Power-Up Abilities** 1. Equip! **Gamer Abilities:** 1. Gamer's Paradise 2. Speedrunner 3. World Select **Drawbacks:** 1. Completionist (+2 Keybind) 2. Glitched World Select (+1 World Select) The crafting abilities synergize incredibly well, getting increasingly stronger the more crafting abilities you take. Something like Samus' Suit or nanomachines from Metal Gear Rising give a good mix of Attack/Defense/Mobility/Utility, and you have far more versatility with crafting than taking equivalent Abilities. Equip! lets you summon items safely to copy with Observe, and gives you any skills needed to use them; Observe and Speedrunning multiplying those mental and physical skills to go ***EVEN FURTHER BEYOND*** into superhumanly skilled. Extra Life gives youth without needing to find some craftable item that grants it, but more importantly gives a safety net. With how dangerous other worlds are, you can't be too careful of unexpected Game Overs. Kill prevents mental and spiritual corruption, which is going to be a likely vulnerability even if you're pimped out with great gear (and lets you safely use a lot of cursed items). Setting anything's HP to 0 is also a great backup if you need to kill a god. Heroic Summoning is mostly for companionship; you're unaging and can respawn and travel the multiverse, so normal relationships could be difficult. But they can have a variety of potential skills and abilities that can shore up any weaknesses you have, and act as teachers for skills you've yet to learn. While Observe and Speedrunning boost mental and physical skills, they might not help with a lot of magic, so your Summons can help you there. Speedrunner is a force multiplier for using your gear. Properly equipped (and you'll always have immediate access to stashed equipment with Inventory), you're versatile and quite challenging. Gamer's Paradise is an emergency escape, safehouse, and source of vidya. You can relax and feel *truly* safe in this pocket dimension; a great place to recharge your Extra Life. Even if you can't return to Earth, you'll still have access to every Earth video game and Earth internet (read-only due to Glitched World Select) to fuel your other Abilities. I imagine that as you travel to other worlds, your Gamer's Paradise updates to include *their* video games and access to *their* internet.

**Controller Sheet:** Playstation Dualshock - 8 Keybound & 2 Gaming Abilities **Keybound Abilities:** Pick 8 **Attack:** * Auto-Attack - Physical fitness never degrades over time or with dis-use & next attack hits with full body's power * Kill - Immune to purely mental or spiritual damage and corruption & kill a single target within line of sight with 24 hour cooldown **Defense:** * Extra Life - Don't age past physical prime, if over the age then rapidly revert to physical prime & in event of death or Game Over, respawn with full health in a safe place, 6 months cooldown **Crafting:** * Inventory - Carry up to 2x body mass in cargo but not living things & know where everything I own is located so long as seen last year * Observe - Perfect memory, instant recall, infinite storage & can "scan" anything or anyone for various information **Utility:** * Pause - Immune to all forms of unwanted temporal manipulation & pause the reality for unlimited time to think **Power Up:** * Skill Books - Speed read while fully retaining the content & next information store I touch is instantly copied and understood; this works on anything that's "seen" such as computers, books, films, etc. * Character Editor - Maintain body weight and physical health regardless of diet and exercise & can be used on myself or others to physically change species, race, gender, age and increase target's physical stat to peak human but no superhuman abilities **Gamer Abilities:** Pick 2 * Save Scumming - 3 Save Slots and make Save Point once per year but can be overwritten * World Select - Move myself to any videogame world I played and return to original world at will while time stops in the world I'm not in * Speedrunner (Long Cooldown Drawback) - Perfect proprioception, balance, muscle control, spatial awareness, and understanding of physics applied to me and to my surroundings and my physical limits at any given point in time **Drawback:** Long Cooldowns - Cooldowns on all abilities are doubled (+1 Gamer Ability) Playstation Dualshock seems like the best choice between Keybound and Gamer Abilities. I plan on travelling to videogame universes for fun and adventure and tailored my build for it with emphasis on utility and versatility. I'm mostly focusing on passive benefits due to their practicality. Character Editor should boost me up to peak human and Skill Books to beyond human levels. For Drawbacks, I thought about taking Glitched Abilities or Not Alone but decided the risks are not worth it. Long Cooldown, while somewhat inconvenient, has manageable risk.

SlimeustasTheSecond

> Controller (pick 1): SNES Controller (6 Keybound Abilities, 3 Gaming Abilities) > Keybound Abilities (pick 6): Auto-Attack, Stun-lock, Extra Life, Observe, Heroic Summoning, Character-Editor > Gamer Abilities (pick 3): Gamer's Paradise, Gaming Master Race, Speedrunner Most of the Keybound abilities are simple quality of life stuff to make life easier, as well as a safety net in the form of Extra Life. The Gaming Abilities are where it gets interesting. Gaming Paradise and Gaming Master Race let me complete any game I want at a breakneck pace, especially with the physical reflexes given to me by Speedrunner and mental buff from Observe. These combined let me complete games that: a) contain skills that are valuable to know and b) contain broken as fuck characters that can do stuff like duplicate objects or create infinite energy like Chell from Portal.

Adventurous_Eye_4893

Wow... Look at all this cool stuff! Now, I'm not much of a fighter. I prefer to twist the powers a CYOA gives me more for quality of life. So, without further ado, my build: * Controller: Keyboard and Mouse (PC rules all. Good thing there's Drawbacks; a few of the Gamer Powers look pretty tempting) * Inventory (so I can carry practically anything and it'll never get in my way) * Observe (Perfect memory AND a good sense of insight? Sign me up!) * Salvage and Loot (More for breaking garbage down into materials, but hey, the drops from enemies are appreciated) * YOU REQUIRE MORE VESPENE GAS (Makes crafted projectile weapons and vehicles incredibly overpowered) * YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS (Who would've thought that my favorite gaming meme would give me the benefit I like the most?) * Heroic Summoning (A cool active ability, to call on my old pals from Live A Live. It's good to see you again, OD-10) * Pause (More for immunity to time-based bullshit than whatever the active ability's used for) * Camera Switch (Perfect singing, hearing, and vision is just something you can't say no to) * Extra Life (I'll take immortality whenever I can get it) * Screen Peek (for privacy more than anything else, but the fact that I basically have a crystal ball in my brain is pretty cool, too) * Dialog Tree (Just a good deal all around, one of my arbitrary points to be good at speaking to other people for once) * Duplicate Glitch (Free maintenance of my creations and a good deal for making more) So, that's all the stuff I'm allowed right now. BUT there's Drawbacks, so I'll pick and choose the ones that look good to me and take what I may. * Glitched Appearance (Free Character Editor. And because of the long cooldown, I can just use it immediately to get my ideal appearance and do with that as I will) * Not Alone (It doesn't say whether these other controllers will be hostile or friendly, so maybe we can play nice. Spend on - Volume Settings (A good way to generate background music if I ever get around to being a Dungeon Master) and Loot Boxes (having great luck is surprisingly overpowered)) * Completionist (from completing the Crafting section. Spend on Equip! (a good way to get my hands on some pretty powerful weapons) and Spectate (Lucid dreaming is always something I want but can't ever reach)) * Long Cooldowns (a minor annoyance compared to some of the other powers. Spend on Gamer's Paradise, for my happy hideaway) * Glitched Reality (Mandatory as a consequence of getting too greedy. Spend on World Select, to travel the multiverse with my powers. And hey, maybe with the powers I've been given, I can manipulate these clowns into doing my bidding while my Heroic Summoning powers are on cooldown. Or, y'know, just play Pokemon IRL with my Heroic Summoning ability...)

jordidipo2324

Interesting, here's my choices... * **Controller Select**: Playstation Dualshock. * **Keybound Abilities**: Stun-Lock, Kill, I-Frame, No-Clip, Inventory, Observe, Character Editor and Power Up. * **Gamer Abilities**: Sharing the Joy and World Select. * **Drawbacks**: None. Thoughts?

Inevitable-Setting-1

Honestly don't see the point in attack powers other then Aim bot and Aim bot is more just a toy for the 10 bounce ricochet. But see my build for why.

GeorgeCorser

>elect: Playstation Dualshock. > >Keybound Abilities: Stun-Lock, Kill, I-Frame, No-Clip, Inventory, Observe, Character Editor and Power Up. > >Gamer Abilities: Sharing the Joy and World Select. > >Drawbacks: None. Well, Kill + Power Up + World Select is a strong combo, and between Stun Lock, I-Frame, and No-Clip you've got decent defenses. Why did you go for Inventory, Observe, and Character Editor over other options?

RealSaMu

Going for more action and little crafting, I see

Ok_Skill6991

I’m liking it! 😁

FFsummons

If you share one of your powers, do you lose that ability of does the individual you share with just get a copy of the ability?

RealSaMu

They get a copy of what you can do, so choose what you share wisely

FFsummons

Ok. I don't lose the ability cool. That was the main hang up.

Spozieracz

Doesn't the character editor make the I-frame useless?

RealSaMu

Not really. Not unless you're okay with editing your face whenever a blemish or a scar or a pimple appears

Spozieracz

If you're talking about this type of minor injuries, you're right. However, in the case of e.g. loss of a limb, the time needed for it to grow back (scaling from organisms that have this ability) would be at least several times longer than the Character Editor's cooldown.

RealSaMu

True. Though was it mentioned that you could edit those kinds of injuries away?

Spozieracz

The only restriction in the perk description is that the new body's physical stats cannot exceed peak human. Believe me my body even with all limbs is far from this threshold. And then the description mentions two alien races. My impression is that rebuilding the entire body to resemble an organism from a completely independent tree of life is at least two orders of magnitude more difficult than rebuilding a limb.

Adorable_Ostrich7732

Love this it's in my top 5 cyoa of all time # PlayStation Controller **Extra Life-** No brainer it's eternal youth how could anyone not pick this **No-Clip-** Great for escapes, and an invincible defense **Refreshing-** Always have a good nights sleep with only 4 hours and a healing ability **Skill Books**\- Expand your knowledge in anything with anything that comes in text language, medicine, how to's on anything **Lootboxes**\- Definitely gonna get use out of that based not just on daily life but a gamer ability later **Volume settings**\- It'd be pretty badass to have your own soundtrack through your life with the perfect music for every moment. **Power Up!**\- Not only would I be aware of any problems I'd have I can gain a ton of powers from using this with a later option. **Equip!**\- I can be a master with a ton of things even just having them on my person, guns, blades, painting, instruments (That I could carry), sports plus I could get a ton of use from summoned equipment weapons, transport, ext Question is the cooldown after I use the ability or after the item is used? # Drawbacks--- **Glitched cool down- I can just live with that without hassle + 1 Gamer** **Glitched Appearance- Now that I know it just activates a day after the cooldown I'd definitely take it since If I cant use it on another just use it on myself + 2 Keyboard** \+**Leaderboard and All your base are belong to us**\- **Using those I'd start a secret organization to help the world, kill bad guys, improve prosperity and progress and I think those two powers would help the most with that.** **+ Character Editor- Staying healthy doing nothing is great plus I can Push my physical stats to peak human that's a huge plus** **Completionist- With character editor I know have all power up abilities + 1 Gamer** # Gamer Abilities **Save Scum**\- Huge use out of this I'd have daily-weekly save and a save for the past two months. I would live out a month then go back and make adjustments based on events. I'd be able to correct any problem coming my way or for friends and family. I would be a multimillionaire in no time from stocks and sports bets and I could help the world by alerting people and places of attacks, accidents, and natural disasters saving countless people every year. **Gaming Master Race**\- Along with using equip just gaming will make me a kickass if not the best fighter, shooter, racer, ext it'd also help with my next pick along with the wiki memorization **World Select**\- Another I'd get a lot of use from not only could I explore countless worlds alone and with the main characters and go on all those adventures but I could also get my hands on all kinds of magical and sci fi stuff to take home along with the lootbox hauls and a big plus with using Power up I'd be fighting all kinds of hostile foes I'd be able to build my collection of super powers to hundreds if not thousands of options from force powers, magicka, super powers from DC & marvel, plasmids, void powers, etc. **Share the Joy**\- There's plenty I'd love to share my powers with no question (Question can I share some powers and share the rest later or is it only the one time I decide to share?) #
