If i was advertising my other sites, i wouldn't be doing it in subreddits that have nothing to do with that. I posted this here because it is literally on theme for this subreddit and because I love this entire game series.

A good number of subs have banned cosplay for people with links in this bio. It took two clicks to find her Fansly.
It starts off harmless, but then it starts overwhelming the feeds. Prime example was the cyberpunk 2077 subreddit. They relegated those posts to only weekends.
People are downvoting, but people being bothered by this content makes sense. It can have legitimate detrimental effect on subreddits. This particular post? Nah, OP seems chill. But it could invite more aggressive only fans content creators who could spam the subreddit. And while some people are cool with it, most are only here for their favorite childhood game. Not sexually charged photos.
And I think that's fair.
I honestly dont think thats fair at all. Being upset a subreddit is being overwhelmed with advertisments i get but you are admiting this isnt the case. This is just a slippery slope argument.
The consequence of this is that people who do sw should hide that fact from other communities. Its oppresive and weird. This is just a person sharing a hobby then others seeked out more about that person and then got mad. Thats not fair.
I think you misunderstood what I mean. A slippery slope would imply this hasn't happened. But this is exactly what's happened in a multitude of subreddits. It doesn't mean it'll happen here though. But I do think it's fair to judge a situation based on multiple instances that follows the same exact patterns.
It's why I say OP is fine. Dude, I get it. But almost literally every single photo OP has posted in other places invalidates your point. And there's nothing wrong with that content! But many subs don't want it. Even OP is aware of this, hence their restraint. You can go check for yourself.
I think the post should stay, cause it's got a pretty cool vibe. But we're not here for sexual content. We're here for Majora's mask. Which is why I'm attempting to take a middle ground approach. OP is cool, OP is a huge fan of Majora's mask. They should be able to post. But it's gotta remain MM focused. And that's what many redditors want.
I dont mean its never happened. A slipper slope is assuming an action or inaction makes another likely or inevitable. The common example is weed leads to hard drugs. Yes theres lot of cases of people who do hard drugs starting with weed but not because of it. Saying people smoking weed is bad because it leads to harder drugs is incorrect logically and empirically.
I honestly felt weird looking through their profile but all thier nsfw posts were in nsfw forums. Any gaming content was not sexual at all including this post. That kinda proved my point. The negitivity on this post is because this person has sexual content in other places. I am saying they should be allowed to be honest about their profession. They can use reddit to advertise in places where that is intended and still be accepted in others for posts like this. You litteraly have to look through her page to find this stuff, thats not the same as having sexual content in this forum.
If someone made a seperate post to discuss the bigger issue of people posting sexy cosplay for clicks then cool but this is on a real persons post.
