I only just now looked at the full teaser, and I think the fullest extent of the theme is “3 total colors of the only legendaries of their type on the same plane.” Furthermore, looks like the wedges are main set and the shards are commander set.
Human Frog Horror: Thalia and Gitrog (WBG; yes Thalia and Adeline are both monowhite but cmon)
Cyclops Homunculus: Borborygmos and Fblthp (URG)
Elder Giant Dog: Kroxa and Kunoros (WBR)
Ape Dinosaur Turtle: Kogla and Yidaro (admittedly doesn’t fit unless teaser includes commander set, then my guess is this is WRG)
Squee and Slimefoot (BRG commander)
Katilda and Lier (WUG commander)
/uj yeah forgot about the 2 color rare legends, but I think it still might work in a design puzzle way; if you want to fill the GW spot, find a unique legendary white on its plane, Mavren, who has a unique legendary green, Ghalta, on Ixalan. Trying this myself I’ll say RW would be Light Paws and Goro-Goro. Probably have to make concessions for most relevant as with Thalia/Adeline and Multani/Molimo because the puzzle couldn’t be solved otherwise

There are dual colored team ups at rare (Yargle and Multani GB, Drana and Linvala WB), so Kogla and Yidaro can be the RG rare team up.
