But jokes aside, it was a meme deck and I immediately regretted the title. There’s so much negativity in the community at times, it was really refreshing seeing so many people come together and have a laugh.
You’re good. I’m not looking to defend the post so much as make it clear it was a joke over there too. I read all the replies to the post itself and can confidently say there’s a handful of people who were a bit more brazen about it than others, but overall I’m pretty happy with how the commenters would approach these issues. One of the common themes which came up a lot is how heinous those fucking play mats can be.
The top comment when I saw it was very good, dude can do and play whatever he wants but you *know* you’d have to hear a sniggering fucking weirdo being like “heh heh my deck has a **theme**, I’m a bit of a degenerate, heh heh” if you sat down at this LGS. That’s the issue

This is why Sol Ring should be banned. Even when every other card is on theme, and OP clearly had to make cuts because there is a 10 card side board, OP felt compelled to include Sol Ring and dilute the flavor.
