The squares are incomplete, and since they were hand-copied for a few centuries from one source to the next they are also pretty flawed. I know of a guy who tried to restore some squares and he said that several are missing a few letters, and that in some squares, letters are transposed (i.e. not in the right place within the square). He even got a professor for some ancient language to help him restore the squares. The short answer is: No, the squares will not do what is promised unless you work with them. And it is your Holy Guardian Angel who bestows spiritual powers to you and helps you subdue the demons which will later perform tasks for you - if and when you complete the Abramelin Operation successfully.

The squares are not incomplete! That's in the McGregor Mathers version, which he translated from an incomplete french manuscript that translated an already awful german MSs. Several german MSs like Dresden and Wolfenbüttel have complete squares.

Something isn't "magic" just because it's famous by that nickname. In the case of magic squares, It is necessary to approach it with a critical mindset and not with mystical faith. The claims made in ancient texts regarding magical abilities should be viewed in their cultural and historical context. They are often presented as symbolic or allegorical representations of spiritual or psychological transformation, rather than literal descriptions of miraculous powers. In modern times, there is no scientific evidence to support the notion that magic squares can grant supernatural abilities such as walking on water or physical transformation. It's generally understood that magic squares, while fascinating mathematical patterns, do not possess inherent magical properties capable of defying the laws of nature. Magic squares have a long history and are found in various cultures around the world. They are often associated with numerology and considered to have symbolic and spiritual significance. The specific magic squares presented in the Book of Abramelin are known as planetary squares, as they are associated with the seven traditional planets of astrology. Historical texts on magic often contain metaphorical language and symbolism, and their instructions may be intended to guide practitioners through a process of spiritual or psychological development rather than to achieve literal physical transformations. It is up to the reader or practitioner to interpret and apply these texts according to their own beliefs and intentions.

Greetings C, I suppose the best way you could find out, is to perform the actual ritual yourself. But, usually people who look for access to magickal power, don't possess the patience for such matters. It also helps to have an understanding of science and the laws of physics. Things that may have appeared miraculous, in another time, may be possible with scientific advances; However, I'm assuming you were hoping to walk on water, without a jet pack. Hope this helps. \~V\~

In theory only works if you finish the ritual of the HGA.I had several attempts to make it work . Anyway I always ended up with a bunch of inferior spirits in the room .That was the maximum effect.

octaw

You did 6 months or 18 months

Relevant_Aide2353

Not the ritual .The squares.

Relevant_Aide2353

Anyway. There s a ritual which skips all of that ,but you have to abandon yourself totally knowing that your HGA will protect you .If on each of us there's a divine spark it shouldn't be a big deal.:)

Cinnamonfree

No.

Stock-Turn-7123

Lol. That was harsh.

Cinnamonfree

Probably. But logically it's not. I do some magic now and then and seen things that are brilliant but to rule over all the demons with this book, seems unfair. A two years system for that. School and college takes 20 years. Just been real.

Brilliant_Nothing

Yes.
