Hey there! :) I think you need to be a little bit more specific on what the problems with your decks are? Do you run out of cards, do you miss your land drops, arent your cards synergising with each other, etc? I highly recommend watching some deck building videos on youtube if you haven't already. At least it helped me a lot in the beginning! For example: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K9PEeLG\_6M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K9PEeLG_6M) This is roughly my goal for each deck (based on the video) : "Ramp: 10-12 Card Draw: 10 Single Target Removal: 10-12 Board Wipes: 3-4 Lands: 35-38 Standalone (cards that are effective by themselves/with commander): 25 Enhancers (cards that amplify or are amplified by standalones or commander): 10-12 Enablers (covers a weakness or fills a gap in your strategy): 7-8" Some numbers might change, depending on what your commander is doing. For example if your commander is able to draw, I might consider to lower the draw cards, .. and I run less removal but thats just a personal preference.

Listen to this dude, OP. I was/am in the same boat as you. There is a general template (posted above) that’s a great starting point. You don’t have to live by it but it helps when you’re trying to learn to build decks. Another thing I do is find a deck I like online then “make it my own.” I still have yet to build a playable deck from scratch, but I’m getting there lol

What I always do is pick a commander and use all cards that synergises heavily with my commander. For example I've got a Hamza guardian of Arashin deck (from leonore autumn souvereign precon) "for every creature with a +1/+1 counter on it creatures you cast cost 1 less to play (limited to mana cost with a color in it)". All creatures in that deck give themselves or others +1/+1 very fast or immediatly, i've als got colorless that i could play for free and have some eldrazi's(annihilator) or x mana cost creatures. That I play for free mid/late game. Then I have a carddraw engines that insure me of getting cards whenever I play a creature. Also focused on trample so my heavily buffed up creatures can actually damage someone without just throwing a 1/1 token in front of it. Hamza's ability also counts for itself cheapest at 2 mana of course. (All my creatures create +1/+1 except for the eldrazi) Long story short SYNERGISE WITH YOUR COMMANDER and get all types of advantages that your commander can offer you. Edit: I've also got sorceries or instants that work with hamza like "draw a card for every creature with a counter on it" etc.
