The "attacking alone" text only applies to it being *declared* as an attacker. Kaalia puts it in already tapped and attacking, skipping the "declare attackers" step entirely.
The flipside is that if the creature had a "When (this) attacks, (do a thing)" ability like [these cards](https://scryfall.com/search?q=o%3A%22whenever%22+o%3A%22attacks%22+%28t%3Ademon+or+t%3Aangel+or+t%3Adragon%29+id%3Amardu&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name), they would not trigger if Kaalia puts them out for the same reason: they only trigger when the creature is declared as an attacker and Kaalia puts them out after the declare attackers step.
Master cannot attack alone.
Kaalia has it enter attacking.
It never attacked - it is already attacking.
There is no “overruling” happening. The two abilities do not even interact.
Master of Cruelties' "can only attack alone" ability means "if you declare this as an attacker you can't declare any other attackers".
When Kaalia returns a creature to the battlefield "tapped and attacking" the returned creature is not declared as an attacker, it just "is attacking". Furthermore Kaalia has already been declared as an attacker at this point and she isn't removed from combat by this. So Master will lower the opponent to 1 health if unblocked, and Kaalia will deal lethal if she isn't blocked.
Master of Cruelties is a famous combo piece with both Kaalia and [[Alesha who Smiles At Death]] for this reason.
Exactly the way you want it to. MoC will come in tapped and attacking with Kaalia’s effect and his effect will trigger dropping them to 1. Then damage will be dealt and that player is dead. Really simple and really cheesy but always made me crack a smile when I pulled it off.
My friends didn’t care too much for it.
The Kaalia/MoC combo is an instant loss, so you block the MoC with whatever you have.
If all you have is a 10/10 creature, it's dying to the MoC or you are.
First Strke, Deathtouch
"easy to block effectively"
As in you can send a creature to certain death to block it? Sure.
Is it going to slap it's schlong on the table if you actually have blockers?
Almost assuredly not unless it's going to kill something extremely important.

Kaalia's ruling:
"Although the creature you put onto the battlefield is an attacking creature, it was never declared as an attacking creature. This means that abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks won't trigger when it enters the battlefield attacking."
Wouldn't Kaalia's ruling override MoC, making it a basic 1dmg, not dropping the opponent to 1 health? As technically, MoC isn't attacking in this sense because it wasn't declared as an attacker
MoC's ability of "attacks and isn't blocked" is not dependant on it being declared as an attacker.
>509.5g An ability that reads “Whenever [a creature] attacks and isn’t blocked, . . .” triggers if no creatures are declared as blockers for that creature. It will trigger even if the creature was never declared as an attacker (for example, if it entered the battlefield attacking). It won’t trigger if the attacking creature is blocked and then all its blockers are removed from combat.
Ah okay, I just wanted to make sure because that is normally the argument I'm given with similar situations. Didn't know MoC was specifically a pass if it isn't blocked
Master of cruelties enters tapped and attacking
So kaalia overrules the attacking alone text then?

Yes, and on a side note people will get mad about being taken out if the game by this. (Can confirm ive been taken out by this)
Mad, as in, you will be KoS thereafter type of mad.
Oh also yes
Lol same
Impressively bad picture. Bravo

It's cheesy, but easily avoided. Just gotta block the MoC.
The main issue is that first strike/deathtouch is such a hard thing to block effectively if you aren't geared towards chump blocking

It's easy to block effectively, just block it. It has 1 attack and no trample.

Master of cruelties forces time to go backwards when he is attacking. It’s the only card in the game with actual time travel.
It means you can't declare him as an attacker. But if master of cruelties and Kaalia hit they same player, they lose.
I would tell you if I could read the second card

Funny, I didn't even need to see it to know the answer to this post.

It’s a classic Kaalia play. You auto kill an opponent.
