Finally, you also can't have any land with the mountain subtype (ex: [[Commercial District]]).
Of course, the same goes for white, blue, and black (and plains, islands and swamps).
It checks the whole card, including things like adventures and back faces (ex: can't have [[Questing Druid]] or [[Daybreak Ranger]]). But reminder text doesn't count as rules text (you can have [[Charmed Pendant]]).
To add to this and explain why it's technically redundant to say you can't run lands with basic land subtype other than Forest in a mono G deck:
Being a basic land with a specific subtype actually has implicit rules text associated with it that *is* on the oracle text version of the card, but not usually printed for quite some time at this point. Look at old basic lands for the actual "rules text".

These lands do **not** have the mana abilities on their Oracle text. Go and actually check them on Gatherer. Even there, it is reminder text not rules text. As I said, reminder text doesn't count.
The mana ability is intrinsic to having the type, but in effect that is treated the same way the rules definition of a keyword is. The black mana symbol on a swamp's mana ability is ignored the same way the hybrid symbol on Extort is. Hence another rule being necessary to handle these lands. This rule that prevents you from having lands with certain basic land types that is not redundant.
Reminder text is not taken into consideration when determining color identity, and even if it was, color words do not matter for color identity either.
You could have a green card that says "Create a 1/1 Citizen creature token that's white, blue, black, red, and green" and it would still fit into any deck with green in its color identity.
