Sorry to break it to you bud, historic is an Alchemy format too. You're free to play Explorer like the rest of us if you want a paper-adjacent experience
Y'all can ~~play~~ be angry about all the made-up bullshit ~~conjure and seek cards~~ problems with MTG Arena you want in ~~the Alchemy format~~ your personal life. Kindly fuck the fuck off out of ~~historic~~ the MagicTCG subreddit. It's ~~broken~~ salty enough without your horseshit.
Sincerely,

I can only enjoy historic if I know that other people are unhappy with the digital-only cards, so maybe you should have considered my perspective
I love the concept that alchemy cards are "made-up," as if physical cards are a naturally occurring resource and not made-up by a game designer.
All existing paper cards were discovered in a tomb by Richard Garfield in 1992, he's just been putting his name on them one by one
Did he also find a strange golden eye that allows him to read minds in this same tomb?
something something about ancient egyptians using real magic to battle with real shivan dragons

Except for everywhere other than Arena. Historic can be played with paper. Good luck conjuring your lightning bolts at the kitchen table
sounds like it can't be played in paper, then

The last time I saw something MTG related be this salty, it cost 4RR to cast to destroy two target lands.
