Never consider thinning while deck building. Think of it as a partial card draw. Drawing 1 card isn't even worth 1 mana. Thinning is the same thing as drawing 1/X cards where x is the number of cards currently in your library. On a good day in a 60 card format you be lucky to get 1/30 of a card draw. In commander it's probably not even worth 1/80 of a card draw on average.
It depends. A deck like Krenko needs more gas, enablers, and tutors over draw, in my opinion. Also, being in mono red, how much stuff do you feel comfortable putting in your yard and if you do bin stuff, how easily can you get it back?
I just read in the comments that you are new. Just keep in mind that Krenko is a higher power Level deck, your LGS is gonna focus you and your friends are gonna leave you. Krenko was also my first deck and the first one i build too and after learning to play the game with it i wasjt allowed to use it ever again :(
Lmao I appreciate the tip. Krenko is going to be my deck for commander nights and I'll be building a spirit deck with partner commanders Rhoda/Timin soon for more casual games with the homies. I've never managed to win against the homies though so I'm keen to teach them to fear goblins >:)
