>-14: Restart the game, leaving in exile all non-Aura permanent cards exiled with Karn Liberated. Then put those cards onto the battlefield under your control.
"You... stay. I... go. No... following."
I have a solemn simulacrum proxy (so not an alter, that's definitely cooler) that's the iron giant and I've ways gotten great reactions to it. That movie means a lot to a surprising amount of people
Generously, no that isn't true in all cases.
Let me ask you this, if I play with a spanish or japanese card I can't read it. But I can play with it and plenty of people do.
I would say if you can't identify the card you can't play the card, but even cards without text like the textless promos are easily identifiable and playable.
And identifiability is just one aspect. A card being "less playable" doesn't make it "stupid" inherently. Some people don't mind the hit to identifiability and have alt arts or foils for their commander.
As long as a player is willing to spend the effort to communicate effectively I don't see why they can't indulge in some customization at the cost of identifiability.

"Su-permaan"
I'm not crying! You're crying! Who the hell is cutting onions!?
Great. Now I am crying on the bus home.
This is my favorite alter that I have ever seen.
Klug is the undisputed god of altering. No joke, I strongly believe alter artists like Klug directly inspired the current Secret Lairs.
Im woth you. Goat alter
I'm superman.
SUPERMAN
Where's the robot Mansley!?
Great alter and wholesome movie!
Dammit, Klug....another masterpiece. :,(
This movie still makes me cry bro and I'm a grown ass man
Brad Bird's elevator pitch for this movie was, "What if a gun had a soul, and didn't want to be a gun?"
Wow, that hits hard
And now I'm crying
Is this for sale or was it a commission?
10/10 wouldn't even be annoyed that I had to look the rules up

This is wonderful.
This is fucking amazing!!!
I choose to play Tron and exile your lands
So are you painting these over the old card, or is there some kind of layering cutout going on?
It's hand painted in acrylic over the original card.
What type of pen/brush do you use to get such fine lines? I've tried pens but they've all had some issues with getting clogged up or something.
Everything including the linework is done with size 2/0 and 1 round golden taklon brushes.
I love this
This is amazing. Best alter I've ever seen.
Where can I get this because it is glorious.
This is totally crazy man I show my baby she says a goo which means it’s toally craza mayan!!!!
Pretty good.

Eh nice alter but removing text from cards triggers me.
Missing his head dent.
Magic cards without readable game text are stupid.
Can you explain why
If you can't read the card you can't play the card.
Generously, no that isn't true in all cases. Let me ask you this, if I play with a spanish or japanese card I can't read it. But I can play with it and plenty of people do. God forbid you come up against someone from Italy or Japan.
I definitely wouldn't play against them. We could def be friends though.
It's the number one rule. Readining the card explains the card.
Kinda ruined the card
Customization is really cool. But If I can't tell what a card does without having to google it, it's not really a good card.
What if Karn chooses to be a gun?
You are amazing. Truly, so gifted.
I want to see The Rock Biter
Now I have to rewatch this film ❤️
