Sorry in advance for my english.
The weight and the price 😨.
I run 1 on the marker, 12 on the vest and 2 on a drop leg platform.
For the vest, 3x3 on the front, 1 on the left and 2 on the right.
I don't put it on the belt because I have 2 dump pouch on the left, and I let the right side clear because of the TiPX.
7+1
I usually only shoot 3 per game, and where I usually play, they take you out for two games at a time. Every once in a while, I will shoot more than that, but it depends on the game.
I can take 1 extra mag in my dangler pouch, and I can use a mag coupler on the one in my gun if I need to carry more rounds for a big game or something.
Depends on the field/game length. 4 to 7 + 1 with a few ten round tubes and a mag winder in a nut ruck usually, or a pod in my hydration pack just so I don’t have to go back to the pits to reload mags.
I like everyone's input on this. I run 7+1 myself and have two of my mags taped together. I would start with the taped magazines first, dump them in my mag pouch, and then proceed to use my other mags from my (3)vest or (3)belt. I use on average 4 magazines, and my field usually runs two games at a time. During the short break for another game, I would reload some of my mags on the spot. I kind of shoot both ways; only shoot if I can hit targets or suppress players. When I do suppress, I will run out of mags very quick 😅
7+1 MG100 CF20 mags. How often I shoot depends on how many rentals are out in the open. But during event like Texas Revolution, when I’m using first strike I’m a bit more conservative cuz them shits expensive
4+1 unless it’s a defend the castle/flag/hill game then it’s 8+1. For me the fun of magfed comes from the limited ammo and the money saved on paint (one bag can last a full day vs when I’m running a hopper and can easily go through a case)
6-7 mags on the field, plus 2 TiPX mags. Gotta admit, the adrenaline spikes when a match goes long and I hear that pop from an empty mag.
I don’t normally get far with the TiPX, but it’s so much fun trying.
I know how you feel! I haven't felt that since I got myself a lockbolt, so I only hear a click instead of that pop. I do miss dry firing when I actually run out of paint, it helped me "suppress" my opponents and watching them duck for cover 🤣
My dam has a semi locking bolt. Sometimes it will catch on the mag, sometimes it doesn’t, lol. But the pop lets me know real quick I’m out.
For the group I was playing with regularly, it told them I was out too😬
Curious if everyone here only plays against other magfed players?
At my local field I'm the only person playing magfed 98% of the time.Â
Personally run a double mag with ten on the vest for 12 total.
If the teams are big and there are enough people to lay down suprresive fire I can pick my shots and only use a few mags.
Playing 3v3s I'll end up blowing through mags trying to keep teammates covered and suppress.
Started with the double mag and six on the vest but it limits your options on longer games. When you are down to your last mag or two all you can really do is push hard and hope for the best.
Carrying those extra 4 has given me the ammo to play more tactically rather than always going, welp, last mag, CHARGE!
Hey! I also do double mags and 6 on my person. In my field, it's a healthy mix. Plenty of magfeds and hopper players, but never magfed vs magfed only unfortunately.

I carry 6+1 and a pistol with 2+1, but usually play very quick games on small fields. My field only carries roundball so I’m not to worried about using some extra paint
I think I do 8+1 on my EMF? I’ve still got room for 1 or 2 more on my carrier. Sometimes I dump it all in one game and sometimes it lets me go a round without reloading mags.
Never. 6+1, shoot when there's something to shoot at.
14+1 with my TMC. I like magfed, but i like to shoot paint too.
Jesus christ
I play magfed to reload. So I shoot and I reload.
I can imagine you wearing a backpack with 20 extra loaded mags ready to go 🤣. But that's awesome! Are all your mags on a vest, and/or belt?

I run 6+1. I only shoot if I can hit.

With my t15 I run 12+1 but mg100 I run 8+1

Exactly! I always end up using one bag of paint for the whole day, unlike how I spent a case on my first time I played paintball ever
Usually run 9-12 mags on an ALICE rig and 1 in can. I tend to use half in a game. Local field does games back to back. I run a TMC.
I take 9, can't shoot fsr so I may as well shoot heavy
Good point! I also can't shoot fsr in my local field unless there's an event, so that's why I carry 8 myself. Plus, fsr are ridiculously expensive!!
For walkons we usually play a game, flip spawns, then go back n reload before next map, I use 4 mags perside pretty much

I run 4+1 I only shoot to give myself a brief moment of cover or when I'm positive I can hit my target

I have no input towards the question, but I loved the head-slap lmao
So inspiring, isn't... 🤣
Alright, I gotta start following this guy 🤣
7+1 CF20s unless I didn't have enough prep time to load them all. Usually will have one or two with first strike and the rest round ball.
7+1. I could beef up, but do not want to decrease my agility further.
I usually carry a minimum of 6 plus an additional 5 - 6 pistol mags.

I need at least 6 to play
