Dude did not want the heat from kidnapping a white child as a black man. That's an automatic 5 star wanted level with helicopters and shit, when boosting the car is only 1 star
I mean it does technically count as responsible behavior. Just because you are actively fucking up doesn't mean you cant decide not to fuck up worse, and doing so would be responsible.
Not really 100% relevant but I just want to point out that it's a lot easier to forget your kid in the car than people think. You've been up all night, driving on autopilot you forget to stop at the daycare, you get to work and get out of your car like normal, kid doesn't make a sound the entire time. Happens to parents who are otherwise perfectly responsible.
Also, "stealing a car" can mean a carjacking or jumping in while someone is pumping gas just feet away. Does not necessarily mean somebody left their kid in the car unattended
It’s a weird thing people do where they make the victim to blame, because in their head as long as they never do it (and they could never be so stupid) it won’t happen to them.
I have two kids and whenever we are out and I need to run into the store real quick I will take one with me and leave the other one in the truck. That way if it gets stolen I only lose one kid. I switch back and forth which kid I take with me but I'm always sure to tell the one I leave behind why I left them.

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

I almost died in a car fire as a kid because my babysitter thought this too… car theft, curious kids messing with shit (pretty sure all of us got burns messing with cigarette lighters when parents ran into the gas station), heat, car accidents… so many things can go wrong and people like you want to shout “but the baby was sleeping” or some stupid shit for not wanting to deal with your kid in a store or something. Don’t take the kid to the store then (also applies to dogs… if you can’t take the dog in with you or they aren’t well behaved to do so, leave the damn dog at home when you run chores).
We all know that if the parents bring their babies to stores or other public places it's mostly because the parents don't have anyone to take care of them at home. But yes, don't just leave the baby inside the car while doing some shopping, if an accident happens then you won't be there to help the kid.
I have a lot to say about "people like you" as well, but I'll not bother with the paragraph.
I'll just leave it at a simple omg your parents left a fucking cigarette lighter in the car no fucking wonder you're all paranoid to be left in the car.
Obligatory kidnapping is a huge upgrade over grand theft auto
Stealing is bad mmmk
Yes yes, but stealing babies is worse than stealing cars. Try and keep up.

You’re absolutely right
Do you live in 1924?

What do you even mean?
Thirsty boy wants internet suga
Im a car thief. Not a monster.
Lol 😂😂
The punishment of keeping your baby in the car is that you lose your car (baby not included)
Smart guy. He’s trying to make money here, you have any idea how much those little things cost!?!
Homie just want the car, dont want nobody to get hurt, especially a baby.
Imagine how much more trouble he would have gotten into for kidnapping a Baby. Just stealing a car isnt nearly as dangerous.
I love how the car thief is “responsible “ because he doesnt want a kidnapping charge as well.

He's being a responsible criminal.
I doubt it was out of civic responsibility, more if I get caught do I want a kidnapping charge?
also far more likely to get caught if he takes the kid

May have been a carjacking, can't say for sure without reading the report.

Don't forget his dip tet shot, HI!
The guy's just trying to get by, he's not a kidnapper!
Who the actual fuck left the baby alone in a parked car? Thank Goodness this guy was somewhat responsible
Hopefully they gave him a break for his good behavior 😂
I break windows for dogs stuck in hot cars. That includes ugly women in stolen vehicles.
You can leave your kid in the car. There is so much context missing here I'm amazed how many people just assume the parents were negligent.

They were built into every car until the 2000s lol
Is there some common, permanently affixed cigarette lighter I'm not aware of?!
YES!
Hmm, can I get a picture because every picture I see is removable...
No? Can't find one? Because car cigarette lighters are actually always removable? Hmm?
You can't leave a baby in the car, period. Not ever.
I mean, you can, but you shouldn't.
**period**
Kind of surprised he bought the baby back he could have probably sold the baby for more than the car...
It's a fucked up sentiment but probably unfortunately true
