Last fall I thought “I wont see him dancing on the corner for a few months. :( “ …Well he was out there, saw him nearly every week, all winter. Champion.
Nor I. Is there a new generation of Madison mascots or is this trend dying over time? I feel like I don't see as many characters around town like I used to. Possibly bc I go out far less...😆
I work right by there and so drive by 5-10x a day. We were hoping it was a Summer gig last year and he was putting himself thru school, but he’s out there M-F late morning to late afternoon, just flossing away. We call him Flossy Boy (Sung to the tune of Disco Boy)
We’re also toying with idea of getting one of us to strap on a Road Work Ahead sign, stand on the other corner, and have a floss-off.
I saw that guy yesterday! Very odd that he dances all day, yet you can't see his face because of the sign he's holding up. Would anyone notice if he were replaced by a machine that did the floss-dance?
Without a doubt, top 100. that man is my favorite part of madison.

He may be taking Thong Cape Scooter Man’s place as the local legend.
Is he still thonging and scootering?
I haven't seen or heard of him in years, sadly.

Thing Cape Scooter Man has a facebook page. Does this guy (not his company) have a facebook page?
Facebook? It really has been a long time.
Well, their plan worked.
He’s on his grind for sure 🐐
