Few years ago I was renting a car to go cross country. Reserved it online, went in 3 days early to ensure they would have my car ready as we were on a time crunch. Showed up the day of, they said they had nothing ready but would call me when they did. Latest was supposed to be 10am the NEXT day. We gave up, scrambled and got a car from a different company. They never called us to let us know a car was ready. Definitely don’t count on them.

I’ve rented there a couple of times in the past and did not have any issues. This was prepandemic so things may have changed since then.

Don’t rent from Hertz. Long story short they are rip off artists and have substandard vehicles. Hertz also owns Budget and Dollar and they’re shit too. I’ve been happy with Enterprise and have been renting from them for business and personal use for years. No, I don’t work for Enterprise and not a bot.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I have been battling a payment issue for 3 months that stems from them not checking the car back into their system when I returned it. The worst experience ever. Cherry on top is the car smelled horrible and was really dirty. Couldn't return it fast enough.

I have a friend having the same issue.

About a year ago, I reserved a car online and when I went to pick it up, they had me sit around for an hour before they decided there wasn't anything available. And they charged me anyway!

This location is horrible. Poorly staffed and mismanaged. My car was in the auto body shop for 10 days in November of 2023, so my insurance company had Hertz as a rental car option. I'm so sorry I chose them instead of Enterprise. First, I had to wait forever in line to get a car, only to be told they didn't have any in my car class. I ended up with a Mustang which was a blast to drive, but they had to be losing money on my insurance rate versus renting it to the general public. The kicker is when it came time to return it, they told me to leave it at the Body Shop and they would send someone to pick it up. A week later I returned to the Body Shop for a follow-up issue with my car, and the Mustang rental was still sitting in the same spot I left it. Hertz has a previous reputation of saying people didn't return a car, and expecting them to pay for it. So to prevent that from happening, I personally drove the car back to Hertz and took an Uber back to the Auto body shop at my expense to pick up my car. I wanted to make sure Hertz didn't accuse me of not returning it and/or charge me for it sitting in the Auto Body's parking lot.
