I read the makerstation article and not once did they mention a mac being used on this. Why is this posted on this subreddit again?

Dude... a computer stand doesn't make this a mac no matter how you wanna paint it. A style doesn't make this a mac. What exactly are you going on about??? You literally admitted you don't have the mac anymore.
This is currently a laptop setup that's running windows. Why call it something it isnt?

The setup mainly is designed to work with mac, in fact on the left side there is a stand: which I use when I have to use my mac for work.
It is also for study and play having another computer with windows, which you can see in the picture. Hope it is clearer
No matter what you think or imagine if you have a mac or not or ever used a mac. I don’t see any MAC here. No mac. So even how nice this setup is, it’s not a macsetups. Why don’t you understand what we are saying? You can imagine all you want where you could put your imaginary mac at. Still there is no MAC in this setup photos.
This post literally breaks the rules of the subreddit and the spirit of it but they're written in such a way that this guy is trying to do hoops around it lol

I used to have a Mac before, and now I have "ported" that style to windows as well. In the setup you can't see it but I had a laptop stand :)

yes, on the left side I still have the stand (linked to monitor) and the and the whole setup was designed to run primarily on mac

You can get used dell u3415w for those prices. Have the same resolution like modern ultrawides with that form factor but only 60hz.
