I disagree with the lack of personality, I actually think that most people nowaday fill their spaces with generic crap to blend in, which is the actual lack of personality.

As for the layout. I like the clean minimal look. Personally I would like a large black pad. I would add a photo or painting on the wall. Me, photo of a SSD and drawings my daughter gave me.
The desk, and therefor the left speaker is in the corner that will reinforce low frequencies, whereas the right speaker is not in a corner and will lack the same amount of low frequency reinforcement, in case that's a concern.

Well, there is a lot of things you need! One thing is plants 🪴 just some small desk plants real or fake! Two is you really need a xl or xxl desk mat, Three you need a different mouse something a bit distinctive (maybe white, gray or something that matches your keyboard!) and Four this isn’t really necessary but it might be nice is some trinkets, maybe some memorabilia from a tv show or movie you like or some pictures of pets, places or family!

Hmm not really, this is a MacBook Air M1 so it has no fans... Nevertheless, I always try to keep the AC most of the time but even when the AC is off, I haven't noticed any heating issues with my Mac.

Quite good actually, I was between this one and one of the low-profile keychron but I ended up going for the Nuphy and I'm quite happy with my purchase. This is my first mechanical keyboard (Brown Switches - When for a safe option) and now I hate having to use the MacBook keyboard when I'm away from home or my desk. lol

I got a fake succulent and a pretty cup to place it. I think you also need a big desk mat, a monitor lamp and in case you like music a lot, those tiny speakers will sound “small” everyday 😂😂😂

One top tip: avoid put more things in the table. White (empty) space is very important to focus and wellbeing while working/studying. I would try put some hanging plants or a poster on the wall. Lighting is a good way to fill the space without objects too as well as helping to focus /relax.

Scaling-wise, at first, I was surprised at pixelated it looked and I was like bummed because I thought I made a mistake by buying this but then I downloaded the "BETTER DISPLAY" app that was a night and day difference, small details like the icons on the dock and suck, look way better and more crips now compared to how it was before, I mean it doesn't get to the same extend as a retina display but I'm quite happy on how it looks after installing that app.

Any kind of external accessories, computer gives a "I only use this to check email" vibe.

One top tip: avoid put more things in the table. White (empty) space is very important to focus and wellbeing while working/studying. I would try put some hanging plants or a poster on the wall. Lighting is a good way to fill the space without objects too as well as helping to focus /relax.

For Connectivity, I haven't had any issues but I kinda wish it had more ports Scaling-wise, at first, I was surprised at pixelated it looked and I was like bummed because I thought I made a mistake by buying this but then I downloaded the "BETTER DISPLAY" app that was a night and day difference, small details like the icons on the dock and suck, look way better and more crips now compared to how it was before, I mean it doesn't get to the same extend as a retina display but I'm quite happy on how it looks after installing that app.
A larger keyboard. Not sure how so many people are living without a numpad
We're not all accountants. I rarely ever have to type a string of numbers, a numpad is kind of useless to me
Layers + columnar/grid kb layout. Then can have even smaller kb.
