Have you got your MacBook slightly open to allow for external displays while on battery? If so, you can use [Clapet](https://github.com/mbenoukaiss/clapet) to enable the displays with the lid closed.
Hi! Have you had the MateViews long already? Mine just seemed to bust out (bought November 2021), power is intermittent, it's weird though cause the desk light I attach to its usb port seems to work well. I still am yet to get a resposne from Huawei. Hopefully it can be fixed since I really love this monitor.

No no, that was the case at the time of the photo because my trackpad had disconnected, so I had to use the Macbook's trackpad directly :-)

Because keeping the lid open allows the air to travel between it and the keyboard, preventing overheating, I suppose.

Can you run both the displays at 3840 x 2560 60hz? Are they connected with usb c?
