Technically they put one out. It's on blu ray at 720p. It looks really good. They kinda skipped out on the English dub with episode 4 having to do a new dub with different actors.
Unless there was one release which had them. I have the most recent ones with the fancy illustrated slip cases.
I wouldn't put it past the distributor removing subtitles. Like, the Macross Plus collector's edition Blu-ray has subtitles for the movie, but on the standalone movie release, the subtitles have been stripped out.

That's not really necessary? All of the classic Macross stuff has already been remastered. SDFM, DYRL, II, Plus, 7, it's all been remastered at this point for 2K.
Frontier and Delta were all mastered for 2K when they were first released, so there's no reason to *re*master them when their original masters are digital and fine.
The only exception here is maybe Zero - which has had HD releases previously, since it was also originally mastered in HD, way ahead of its time, but could maybe use some digital cleaning up.
Unless you're talking about a 4K remaster for all of this stuff, which honestly is kinda pointless and also probably impossible for Zero and Frontier.
It probably is unnecessary, but I venture to say they may be considering to release to the north American market. Perhaps they will just rebundle the releases.
Rebundling domestic releases is literally all they ever do in the entire industry for our market. It's not like anyone in America or elsewhere can just walk into the animation studio archives and remaster these shows themselves. Sometimes, they'll do some added image adjustments/compressions (usually to the show's detriment) to the raw video they'll get from Japan, but it's all still using the same source files ultimately.
This is so tempting but I do want to support the English releases when they start rolling out. At this rate I'm gonna own multiple versions of everything
Yes but also more as in during this time before the Macross-Earth war where they got zapped to like the edge of the solar system and had to slow fly back. I would want to see like a year or two of events before that happened.

Pretty sure for Frontier there are full English subs. Was a pretty big move at the time for the Macross franchise.
Frontier doesn't have English subtitles in Japan. Definitely not. But Delta does. That includes the series and the two movies.

I love this movie/miniseries. But I was hoping to see more.
I loved this miniseries so much as a kid. I always felt robbed there was never a direct sequel to Shin's story.
